For the price, I expected to unpack and unwrap the frame, screw in the legs, and unwrap two cushions. Wrong. This chair is all DIY assembly: the frame is in five pieces. The side pieces are hollow, and the back fabric is attached with velcro. I honestly believe I could have done a better job if they had just sent me the lumber, the fabric, and a staple gun.

That being said, the pieces were well-packed, the design is cute, and the fabric is a nice (although the colors are nowhere near as bright as in the website picture). And as a short person, I find it relatively comfortable to sit in. But in this economy, I can't afford to pay over [price] for a DIY project that looks like one.

Yes, it did take some assembly and the directions were sketchy at best. But it wasn't super difficult and took me between 30-45 minutes. The result was an adorable, fresh- looking chair that's already pretty comfy for even though it's brand new. The colors aren't as bold as they looked and I liked the chair colors BETTER than the picture - and it's perfect for a shorty like me!
