these tables are styrofaom coated with plastic laminate. They are good for just starting out, or maybe for a kids room. I have seen dollar store folding plastic chairs that have more quality. Save up and buy real furniture. These are not.

I just got my table today. Only the large surface pieces are Wood Composite---the legs are Styrofoam covered in plastic. One of the coffee table's legs was messed up too, the screw was too small so the leg was wobbly. To me, its not worth it to send this thing back to get it replaced. I'm just going to use wood glue or something to put the leg back on. Probably not so durable. I'm just hoping this thing will last!

pretty sure its not made of styrafoam considering i can stand on it, very sturdy, perfect if you're looking for somthing simple without breaking the bank.

I tried these tables but didn't like the look because they are definitely cheap. They are very low and didn't work well with my couch. I was disappointed and took them back to the store.

A three-piece table set for a big price? Anyone who expects more than they got doesn't live in the real world. The tables are adorable, very easy to put together, and good for what tables are for. You know, being stationary and having things on them. Not being thrown around or stood on. It's wood composite, just not dense wood composite.

Personally, I think these are great tables for the price. I see no part of them that is made of anything but wood. I don't believe they look cheap. The clean lines and simple design is stylish. (in other words, they don't look like something my great grandmother would have had)

I bought these tables in May and could tell they weren't high quality, but functional at least. They were fine until I accidentally kicked the leg of the coffee table and it's broken now. The screws go into fiberboard and are not stable.

Really what do you expect for this price.It's totally worth it and they are easy to assemble and are durable.I would recommend them to anybody looking for clean-lined type decorating.
