Well, I use this for anything with air. Purchased originally for the airbed, I have found it useful for all the pool toys, plastic blowup chairs and other assorted air items my children have found the need to own. I guess Coleman does make other products that are as great as thier lanterns. They should do more advertising so people would hear about them!

We purchased this unit for a small bounce house. It worked great. Can be used for a variety of other toys with the attachments provided. Like that it is portable and not attached to a power cord. The reason for 4 stars is it needs to be charged for 10 hours/overnight before first use.

They don't say that this pump needs 10 hours to charge before use the first time. Fortunately I had another air pump to use or I would have had to wait until 4 AM to inflate the mattress.

We have been using this pump for years...it has outlasted 3 mattresses (we camp a lot). Recharge is very handy for camping. Easy to use and durable!

This pump worked great while it could still hold a full charge. I've been using it now and it has lasted longer than the 3 beds that have punctured. The first charge is important.
The only downside is not a direct fault, but as with most rechargable batteries, after 3 years, it is dying. It cannot pump the bed enough to last the night anymore, but as I said, it's typical of rechargable batteries.

I think this pump is great. As for the 10 hour charge before the first use, I hadn't read the directions, so I used it when I was ready. It pumped up my pool in no time and I recharge the pump overnight.

This pump works great! We pass it around from tent to tent and it has enough juice to inflate four air mattresses. We also use it to deflate them and pull all the air out for tighter packing.

I thought everyone knew that anything that comes with rechargeable batteries needs to be charged up for the first time. Who knows how long the item has been sitting around.
