We bought this carrier to transport our new bike. The straps are made of cheap plastic that broke on the second day we owned the carrier and bike. Our bike fell off into the interstate, was destroyed, and almost caused a major accident. I would not recommend this product for anyone. Please do not buy this carrier for the safety of your bike and also others on the road around you.
