I bought this Crockpot from a target store yesterday. I took it home and made dinner - 7 hours on the low setting with the lid on. When everyone had been served I put it on warm, replaced the lid and left the kitchen. Ten minutes into dinner we heard a loud pop coming from the kitchen, we went in and found that the crockpot lid had SHATTERED...into the soup. Usually when I hear stories like this I assume it was user error, but there's no excuse. The lid was off for about two minutes while we served ourselves dinner, which is not long enough for it to cool down to a temperature at which glass will shatter when placed over something warm (not boiling). It's obviously going back to the store today.
