The crock pot cooks adequately. The "programmable" feature is overrated. The real problem is the lid - it is a huge pain! It has a rubber seal around it and due to the oval shape is very hard to get placed in just the right spot to latch the side hinges. Every time you stir or take the lid off you have to readjust it to fit. Also - water gets in between the glass and plastic handle and latches when you wash it. While I know they were trying to make something to not spill when traveling - I'll take my chances rather than deal with that lid.
