Poor performance July 26, 2007 Reviewer:  Disappointed! (Lutz, FL)  See all my reviews >

This garment steamer was a disappointment. The steam was sporadic, and the "low water" warning light would come on even though the resevoir was full. Then it would shut itself off. I'd have to wait until it cooled down, and turn it back on, and after a couple of minutes it would do the same thing. Not a good product!

Didn't provide continuous steam April 23, 2007 Reviewer:  Melissa A. Soper "melissa" Real Name (chicago)  See all my reviews >

This was great at first. But after a year, it stopped providing coninuous steam. It takes forever to heat up, and then you have to stop every few seconds and wait for more steam. I've used only distilled water and I tried cleaning it like the directions said, but no luck. Maybe something with more wattage would help?

Great product August 9, 2007 Reviewer:  River See all my reviews >

I have had great luck with this steamer. The steamer heats within a minute and takes the wrinkles out quickly. I have only had it for a month but so far I love it.

its not worth your money July 11, 2008 Reviewer:  manjo "manjo" See all my reviews >

i gave it a try after reading the good reviews not minding the bad ones but it dissapointed me. the cord bends easily. it makes noises when it bends and the steam will go off.its time consuming because you have to change gadgets with each garment to steam the edges and the whole part of it.you may not do it but you just cant steam the edges of your collar, sleeve and bottom part of your shirt.
you may hold it but your hands will be burnt with the steam.the good side your clothes dont get burned and stick like when using iron steamers.in fairness if you're patient enough it works. it removes the creases of the garment. im back to the old way of ironing my clothes which makes my ironing quicker and safer. i've wasted money for it since i could not return it anymore.

LOVE IT April 1, 2007 Reviewer:  DisneyFanadict See all my reviews >

I bought this item yesterday and I've been addicted since. I used this to steam my clothes, sofa, sheets and bed. I've always hated the time it took to iron. This has been a life saver for me.
My only complaint is that the cord is too short otherwise I highly recommend this.

Were is the steam? May 15, 2008 Reviewer:  Dog Mom See all my reviews >

I hated this steamer and it was worthless. It takes forever to heat up and then you have no control over when you get steam. You iron a few strokes and then it has to reheat so I am stuck waiting. The cord is thick and doesn't bend easy and the plastic garmet rack never stays in position and unfolds half the time. I originaly used my handheld Shark red steamer with the garmet attachment and loved it but wanted something just for clothing. This is not it.

GREAT option March 4, 2008 Reviewer:  No Iron in sight See all my reviews >

I have had my steamer for 6 years now!!. Today I am buying one for a wed registry. Actually this has been the wedding present for all my relatives and close friends since I found it a great option rather than iron. Saves you time and keeps your clothes in great condition.

Terrible Product, NOT WORTH BUYING! December 21, 2007 Reviewer:  Unhappy Customer See all my reviews >

We bought this item using our wedding gift cert from Target in June 2007. We paid heavy shipping charge since this could only be an online order. We barely used it until X'mas time when we had to go to our company parties. We never have so many problems with any of our home appliances until we had this one.
This product leaks at the water storage on the bottom of the steamer which damaged our new hardwood floor; leaked steaming hot water at the steamer head on top; the handle was too hot to be held; the clothes would fall of the built-in hanger when using, the hose could NOT be turned around when trying to steam the back of the clothes; and the machine would constantly idle...

Love it! September 18, 2009 Reviewer:  Donna (Omaha, NE)  See all my reviews >

I have both a very expensive steamer on a stand and then I purchased this one for its light weight portability. I used it for three straight weeks while reorganizing and steaming 3 walk in closets full of clothes. I did not have one issue with it. It starts to steam almost immediately. The hanger and pant clips do a great job. For those that had trouble with droplets perhaps they do not keep the wand and garment in a high enough position to allow the steam to flow freely. I would highly recommend this steamer.

surprised at bad reviews June 14, 2009 Reviewer:  Helene Bierns See all my reviews >

I'm really surprised at the bad reviews for this. I've had this steamer for about 2-3 years now and I've absolutely loved it, until this calcium build-up problem. I've tried various ways to decalcify (white vinegar, others) but I'm at the point of giving up and just buying a new one. However, I've had this for quite a while and am just at this point now, so it's been a really good run. If people are frustrated with performance they might want to look at the material they're trying to press like linen or linen blends (can't even do those well with a regular iron). Good product though and would buy again...would give it 3 1/2 stars just because I wish there was a better decalcifier than smelly white vinegar!
