Great for African American Hair January 22, 2007 Reviewer:  V. Campbell "dancer" Real Name (albuquerque, nm)  See all my reviews >

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these rollers. I was very skeptical about buying these b/c I did not know how they would work with my hair texture, but they are far better than I ever could have imagined. No frizz..............just bouncy, shiny, long-lasting curls.

Wonderful.. March 8, 2007 Reviewer:  Ecstatic Lover "Miss Crystal" (Pittsburgh, PA)  See all my reviews >

Ok, I bought these, because I had purchased the Conair Jumbo roller set and they worked soo good. So even though at first I was skeptical about purchasing these ((just like the other set)), but when I got this set, I tried it and loved it! It gave me beautiful, shiny curls. They were easy to roll ((although sometimes it does burn your fingers a little, but it doesn't bother me too much)) and I love the clips ((although, the first time I ever used them in the other set they didn't quite work, so it takes some practice)), so I don't know what the negative reviews are about, maybe the reviewers didn't roll them in right or something.. anyway, the only thing that bothers me about this set is the buzzing noise and when they heat up they don't smell quite the same as the other set I have, but oh well ((probably has something to do with the buzzing)).. all in all, this is worth your money and a good roller set to have.

Glad I bought these June 17, 2008 Reviewer:  Chellie "MH" (Maryland)  See all my reviews >

I read the reviews before purchasing these and decided to get them. I am a black female and wasn't too sure these would work for me b/c I have thick hair even after it is relaxed. I prefer using them over using a flat iron. My curls stay in all day and I can use them everyday or other day and not damage my hair.

i dont know about what ppl are complaining about, maybe the ppl who have trouble using this are'nt using it right or something w/e. nyway i love these curlers, my mom bought one of these and i've borrowed them a few times, they work so well on my hair! i have fine hair that's super borring, seriously this worx so quicky and so well. yeah they heat up pretty fast but i like to keep it on a lil longer to get better results, for some reason i feel like it gives more shine and overall better results when u keep it on longer (like 10 minutes or more if u like). to me the clips are realli kool. i cant get over how easy they are. (they might put an imprint in ur hair only if u put it too tightly, here's a hint: dont overdo it with how much hair ur curling in one curler, there are 20 of them u know, calm down a bit =)...they also fit every curler just rite i love it one size for all, i wanna hug the person who made the clips to me thats one of the best parts but u judge)i'm trying to buy one of these but 2 targets i went to were all out TO TARGET: GET MORE PLZZZZZZZ! wish me luck, im buying two of them just in case =) anyway enough with my endless babbling i guess, i hope this helps =) <3

AWESOME Rollers!! October 30, 2009 Reviewer:  Melody L (Overland Park, KS, USA)  See all my reviews >

I am 25 and have never had a set of rollers in my life. I decided to go for something new, and looked at many different roller reviews at many different stores. I decided on the Conair Infinity since they had better reviews, but the store does not carry those, only these. I decided I'll give them a shot and if I didn't like them, I'd return them and order the more expensive rollers online. I tried these out right when I got home. I didn't let them heat up for too long, about 10 minutes, then started rolling away, with no product in my hair. I let them set in until they were totally cool- probably about 20 minutes. I took them out and I had great curls, but they fell about 2 hours later (I didn't put hairspray in them after, either). The next morning I thought I'd give them a second chance, with some product in my hair. I plugged the puppies in before I got in the shower. After I shampooed, conditioned, and blow dried my hair, I put in some gel before I rolled. I could tell the rollers were quite a bit warmer after letting them heat up for about 20 minutes or more. After they were in, I sprayed lightly with hairspray. I kept them in the whole time I got ready, and on the way to work. In the parking garage, I took out the rollers then sprayed once again with hair spray. My hair was SO curly, and it lasted 2 whole days and nights! (I wash my hair every other day) I have not too thick, just a tad wavy, and colored hair. I did not expect the curls to last so long (and they looked better, or more natural the second day!) I guess the key is to make sure they are 1) plugged in long enough to get SUPER hot 2)product in hair before rolling 3)leave in for 20-30 min and 4) spray afterward! You will have beautiful bouncy curls for 2 days!

Fantastic... November 20, 2006 Reviewer:  I am "Jenny the Fabulous" (Boston)  See all my reviews >

Of all the hair setters I've tried this is definitely one of my favorites. The fabric that lines these curlers doesn't grab or tear your hair and (unless you grab onto the metal part, which obviously you shouldnt do on ANY curler) will not burn your hands or hair. I used a little hairspray after use, but my curls lasted until I brushed my hair out, so I'm not sure why others had a problem with this. Anyway, I highly recommend these; they're much better than a lot of curling sets out today.

Great for loose shiny curls March 14, 2009 Reviewer:  Marie "Marie" (Florida)  See all my reviews >

If your looking for tight curls buy a different product! You get great loose curls that shine and last all day. The heated clips are a joke but overall I was very happy!

I love these! April 2, 2007 Reviewer:  Happy Mom "Remedy" See all my reviews >

I got these curlers and they are AWESOME! The only thing that I had a problem with is when I cut my hair they wouldn't curl my hair anymore. My hair isn't really that short. Other than that I LOVE them!

Okay, from what I could tell... March 2, 2007 Reviewer:  Lissa (Indianapolis, IN)  See all my reviews >

The set up is great, the container is perfect and does keep the rollers warm, so my issue is with the "clips." They are not clips at all, more like pieces of wire. They were impossible to get on and once I did, it had pulled most of the hair that was in the roller out and then when I let go, the whole thing dropped down to the middle of my face. For the price, I would expect a better system for holding the curler in place. I returned them the same day I bought them. But in all fairness, from the 3 I got in before I became so frustrated that I turned it off, my hair did curl.
