This is a great mirror. I bought this to put in a very empty space in my bathroom wall. What can I say...it is gorgeous! It is not dainty, so make sure that you have some space. It can easily be put in a hallway or entryway. The finish is not as dark as it is in the picture. It is more of an expresso dark brown. Worked perfectly and was packaged very very well...not a scratch!

i ordered this in Dec. of '07. it looks great with the taupe sofas and esspresso accents in our family room. It has a rich , contemperary look to it. I have recieved quite a few complimemts on it. I am really happy with it.

This was absolutely the perfect mirror for my space. So you can imagine how crushed I was to open the box (which has lots of packing material in it, just not on the sides where it is needed most) and discover there was a large dent on one side of the frame. I thought about keeping it, trying to fix it, etc. In the end, I took it back. I just couldn't keep something I paid good money for and have it not be as promised. I don't want broken things on my walls. I am very tempted to order another one, but with so many reviews saying they also received it damaged, I think I'll keep looking.

I ordered this online and the first one was delivered damaged. The mirror was not broken but the wood on the side was. They sent us a replacement one and that one was delivered damaged as well. After that they would not give us a replacement so we found a different mirror. It is a shame because it is really beautiful - but we did not want one that was damaged.

I got my mirror today and it's very pretty.
Part of the wood was dented/scratched, but I can cover
it with some wood touch up. It's the only reason I gave it
a 4 instead of 5.

I'm very happy with the mirror and look forward to seeing it on my wall.

I read the reviews and took a chance on receiving the item without damage, however I received the mirror today and it did have slight damage on two places on the edge of the mirror. It was well packed except for the edges, so this company should look into that.

I called Target, told them of the damage and that I'd rather keep it since the damage was minor and I didn't want to take a chance on getting another one in worse condition (I live 4 hours away from the nearsest Target to try to buy one in-store). Target customer service was excellent, and they gave me a 15% refund for the damage since I didn't want to return it.

Because of the damage I have to give it a rating of 4, however I rate the mirror a 5 because it really is beautiful and goes perfectly over the large bureau I recently refinished in a very dark brown stain. The photo online is deceiving because the mirror is perfectly round, but that wasn't an issue for me.

I received my order with no problem. The item was in good shape. However, those who are buying this mirror to match other furnitures, please be aware that the color is NOT Dark Walnut as the store described it. It is Espresso and somewhat matte finish. I loved it and kept it in my hallway but will be putting it in my bathroom once my espresso vanity arrives to match it. Will try and find one in real dark walnut next time to replace this for the hallway.

it is perfectly round! If you are looking at the picture, and like me, thought it was a floating off-center oval mirror, then you would be wrong. This picture online is apparently a view of the mirror from the side, and not straight on... Reading the actual product details also won't help.

Nevertheless, it is a beautiful mirror.

Mine also got a slight dent/chip on one edge from shipping, but as the other reviewer said, not anything too hard to fix.
