A good light shoe August 14, 2009 Reviewer:  HM See all my reviews >

For someone that has no shoes other than flip flops and high heels (I live in Florida!) these shoes are perfect. I have issues with tennis shoes because they are so heavy and bulky feeling compared to being practically barefoot all the time. I know this sounds like a bad thing, but I really do like that the shoes are so light and I can hardly tell they are on. Now, they provide zero support, but I am not in need of that nor am I used to having any. Only problem: they are more low cut than I realized at the store. Normal "no show" socks will not do. I have 2 pairs of extra low cut socks that work, other than that I have to fold regular no show socks down so they aren't on my heel anymore... just around the middle of my foot and toes.

But finally I can cover my toes every once and a while!

These shoes are really comfortable, and they're a great new version of the classic Converses.
