This fireplace is large looks great I only thought that the copper was going to be much stronger, if the mail person handles this item with the slightest bit carelessness you'll have dents. My fireplace came with two warped edges from shipping, but because the copper was very pliable I was able to straighten it out by hand. If you love the looks buy it, if you're looking for something substantial I'd pass.

hi, did anyone elses firebowl come with no instructions? plus I bought the cover and so far, it hasnt shown up yet?
hard to assemble when you only have the pic on the web to look at,no different angles, to see which iron band goes on top.

After searching for the perfect fire pit, I had almost decided to spend $500 on one at Frontgate. Then I found this gem. It looks very similar and works wonderfully. The size is large and it looks great. Im more than pleased, A+! I recommend this to anyone who wants a nice looking fire pit that is functional. Took about 10 minutes to assemble.

Once you get it together it looks nice. The picture of instructions is a bit hard to understand at first, which metal pieces go on inside or outside. I am not handy at all, it took me about 20 minutes to put together. It comes with a nylon cover that stretches over it with lots of room to spare. My teenage daughters started having smores parties with their friends on a tiny grill. This is alot bigger and they can now continue to have their friends over to swim in the pool, talk and listen to music and cook smores by the fire. Good old American fun. This is a large item so the free shipping saved me money. You can also use charcoal or wood in this unit.

I looked at quite a few fire bowls and came across this one. I love it. Took me a sec to figure out if the legs and brackets go inside or outside of the rings (inside) but after I got that it was smooth sailing. The photo doesent do the pit justice. It adds that special finishing touch to my back yard.

This firepit arrived damaged (3rd item I bought online from Target that was damaged in shipment). The picture makes it look high quality which it is not. The copper is SO THIN it can be totally bent with the touch of your hand. If you are looking for even medium quality, I wouldn't consider this item. I searched for a long time for a copper fire pit that wasn't tuscan/fancy and thought this was it with it's clean lines and simple look. But unfortunately, it's not worth the money. I would keep looking if I was you.

Because my husband is a welder and works with metal he is very particular on things we purchase made of metal. We have looked at fire bowls in the store close to this price and they didn't meet his specifications. With his blessing we ordered this bowl and when we opened it we were thrilled. There was a little dent in it, but trust me it is just the first one of many. We use our fire pits alot and plan on having many wonderful evenings with this bowl.

We received this as a gift. It is attractive, but if I were buying one I'd get a fireplace design with the smoke venting out the top, above face level. The shifting bay area evening breezes tend to blow smoke in our faces, making this unpleasant to use.

I bought this fire bowl and I really do like it but... if you read some of the other reviews you will see that I am am not alone with the item being delivered with dents. I am kind of particular and after much consideration, I decided I could live with it but the item arrived at my home dented. The packaging material seemed very adequate so I am guessing that the denting occurred some time before the item was shipped to my home. If you are very particular be prepared to return this item as this seems to happen pretty frequently.
