Just purchased this and it is perfect. Assembly was easy, it mounts on the wall so you need a drill. If you have high ceilings can get two and make a larger one. I dont recommend this as a bookcase but it is wonderful as a decorative shelf!

What a great shelf. It went up easily in the corner of my sunroom, and my walls aren't plumb. It's not real wood; just particleboard and the laminate sheet from under one shelf started to peel off, but I just glued it back and it's good as new. Worth it for the price.

This is a very nice-looking modern bookshelf. The color wasn't completely what I wanted, but then, I knew this before I bought it, and apparently the product is only manufactured in maple and cherry anyway.
It can't hold that much weight, but several books on each shelf are just fine.
