This vacuum is nice and small, and keeps its charge for a good amount of time, but it is not strong enough to be worth it. I did some sewing and it wasn't even powerful enough to pick up the threads on the floor.
Not worth it - now I need to get a second vacuum cleaner.

I bought this stick vac for my area rugs and my hardwood floors. It does an incredible job! In fact, while sweeping up after Easter guests, a super hero cape for Mr. Potato Head was left half hidden under a chair...before I realized what it was, I had sucked it up! I couldn't believe this little stick vac sucked up that cape and didn't even sputter! Not only did it suck it up but I kept on sweeping and didn't empty the container until I had finished the room and it still picked up great!

I like this little guy because it fits easily in our small kitchen, and is great for our apartment, which is all wood floors and linoleum. It does a decent job on our big rugs, and picks up hair and dust bunnies. I'll still use a broom for bigger items, but I like that I can do the whole place in one sweep. In other reviews I noticed people comment that it lost its charge easily; I have never had that problem, but then again, I finish vacuuming in under half an hour. I wish the head was a little flatter so it could fit under the radiators and the couch, but otherwise I find the swivel action pretty good. Also, I totally dig that it's Energy Star approved, so I feel less guilty for keeping it plugged in most of the time.

I am very happy with this vac and would have felt the same if I would have paid double the money. It does great on both hard floor and carpet (my carpet is Berber). It picks up dog hair GREAT. It goes down nearly flat to get under beds and tables. My house is 1500 sq ft and I can do it completely without losing charge. It goes on the charger super easily and the handle folds down really easily. It could be left out in the kitchen without being an eyesore.
The on/off buttons as well as the change from floor to carpet are easy to use and reach. The canister is easy to release from the unit to empty. The NEGATIVE: I find the canister a little tricky to get back on the unit. I would suggest this to anyone.

I bought this vacume as a "higher end" replacement for the much more inexpensive Swivel Sweeper. I bought it to use in between my more thourough cleanings with the big vacuum. However, the cheaper swivel sweeper worked much better until it died. With this vacuum i am lucky if i have it running for 20 minutes before the battery [...] out on me. Half the time it doesnt pick up everything unless i keep going over and over it. I only need it to clean my kitchen, sunroom, family room and 2 small hallways. All but one of those rooms have either hardwood or tile. I regret buying this and would NOT recommend to anyone to buy it for themselves.

I bought this to replace my Electrolux 2-n-1 Pronto. I used the Dirt Devil for about a month, it worked really great on both hardwood and carpet, but it was so loud. Then it started having a high pitched feedback sound that just hurt my ears. If it hurt mine then it must have hurt my 2 and 5 year olds ears too. I took it back and bought the Electrolux Ergorapido 2-n-1, which I love.

I have 2 dogs, one which is a shepherd/collie mix, and it sheds constantly. I needed something easy and light to use daily to pick up the dog hair from the hardwood floors, and it works perfectly. I still have to use the big vacuum for the better suction on the carpeting, but for a quick clean up, it does what I need it to.

I bought for my floors and carpets not to replace my vacuum, but just for the in between periods. I charged it over night instead of the recommended 6 hours, but unfortunately, the battery only lasted maybe 45 minutes! On my carpet it didn't really pick up much, unless I ran it over and over. On my floors it would pick up dust, hair, but anything bigger than a crumb, forget about it. I'm returning it tomorrow.

I think this vac was agreat buy for everyday light cleaning. It is easy to get around with it bc it isn't heavy and swivels to your needs. Also, it stays charged for a good amount of time and is easy to put away.

Just bought it yesterday, charged overnight and tried it out this morning. Bought it for daily touch up of ceramic tile and hardwood and low pile carpets. Have a 3 lb bunny that lives uncaged in the kitchen and she is a messy little bugger. This vac picked up small and large pieces of dried grass and hay, rabbit pellets and a few tiny poopies from the rugs and tile effortlessly with one or two passes. Big dust bunnies, small clumps of dog hair from my non-shedding Lhasa Apso (ha), dog biscuit crumbs all were sucked up from carpet and hardwoods. And the vac. looks really sharp too. I plan to vacuum this area every day before work so it's not an ordeal to clean on the weekends. Embarrassed to say that the dirt cup filled up in only 20 minutes of vacuuming, but very easy to clean.
Will update if there are any problems.
