These are nice every day dishes. They are a little flimsier than I thought they would be. When you read stoneware you expect something a bit thicker, but they are nice dishes. I don't have the problem with scratches like others seem to so far. My favorite are the salad plates and mugs. I don't use the bowls too often because they are a bit shallow.

We got 3 sets for our wedding and we used them one time with stainless steel utensils and the white plates are totally scratched in the middle. I tried everything to get the scratches off, but it seems to have scratched off the white. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to use them until after Target's lovely 90 day return policy so we're stuck with 3 sets...what a waste!

I received 2 sets of this dinnerwear as a wedding gift and it is beautiful!! A great set for the price, SO worth it and the mugs are a great size as well. I haven't had any problems with scratching or chipping so far and its been about 1.5 months now. I highly recommend this set for everyday dinners!!

These dishes were a gift to me from last Chrismas I've just recently moved into my first home and have finally had a chance to use them! Not only are they absolutly adorable but the design is very classy as well! They're black and while color scheme allows for a variety of correlating kitchen colors! I reccomend this dish wear to everyone looking for cute yet sophisticated dinner ware.

I own one set, and just registered for another because they are so fabulous! I am picky about what I like, and I have to tell you that I could not be more please with these dishes. I have not experienced any scratching problems from stainless steel flatware with my current set (as other reviews state). I get compliments all of the time from friends who come over and use these plates! Very elegant looking for such a decent price!

I recieved these dishes off my bridal registry and they are wonderful. The only thing that I dont like about them is how silverware scratches them. Some of the scratches wash off and the rest are barely noticable, but I thought you should know. But Have no fear, I would pick them out again.

I have had these plates for over a year. They are great! We use stainless steel silverware on them and have experienced no problems like others have described. The mugs are my favorite - the right size and so classy looking!
The bowl is shallow - we use it for pasta. You will need some other bowls for cereal and soup.

I bought these about a year ago for a great price. I loved them! However, after a few short months, they were showing a lot of scratches. Today, I got them out of the cabinets to throw the entire set away. There dinner plates are covered in gray scratches all over the white, as are the bowls. The salad plates, which are black, still show a ton of scratches. I guess if you don't mind throwing your money away then buy them, otherwise don't use any utensils on them.
