I was looking for baby gifts and was positively horrified to find this item. I am a pediatrician, and more than once have had to tell parents that their infant was dead because of SIDS/the parent rolling over on them in the night. The ONLY proven sleeping position to prevent SIDS in those first few months is on their back, on a mattress with only a flat sheet and no pillows or stuffed animals. If they need to be propped for reflux, then you put a phone book UNDER the mattress, NEVER something on top of it. You can argue with me about your personal experience all you want, but I really don't enjoy seeing infants die and I will do all it takes to prevent even one death. I can't believe this company hasn't been sued yet.

I love this sleeper pad! The bolsters adjust with velcro strips to make a custom fit for your baby - unlike other pads that have unmovable bolsters.

I bought this thinking oh wow it will help with positioning, acid reflux etc...
Other then it being really soft with the cushioning/sponge like material; my son never stayed up on it. I found him sliding down and would be completely off the item. I had to keep moving him up and up. I adventually took it out and now its a waste of money.
I read a review that someone said that if you put it at the bottom of crib this issue might be prevented... then the poor baby's legs will be all squished. Not worth it. Now I use the normal positioner and its great.

I bought this sleeper at another retailer and contrary to all the negative reviews here most of the people who bought this product at another retailer were happy with it.
All I can say that the sleeper is GREAT! my daughter slept in it from day on and still does(almost 5 mos old). She has a terrible acid reflux but the sleeper helps her not to spit up while sleeping.
What you can do about the sliding- if your baby sleeps in a crib put the sleeper in the middle of the crib closer to one end so when she slides her feet will touch the bumper. Works great for me. In a bassinette it fits perfect.

i used this 2 times when i first brought my son home. the first time he wiggled around and his head fell off the side of the head piece. the second time, he wiggled himself down so his head was between the two foam wedges on the side. after that happened i threw it away. This is not worth waking up to a suffocated baby.

Much like all the other parents who have purchased this product, my child slipped or fell off the side. This was a horrible product and a complete waste of money. VERY upset that I spent 20 bucks on this product. Does this company not test their products at all???? Don't waste your money, but something that is not inclined.

The concept behind this product is great, and I really tried to make it work, but after finding my daughters face wedged in between the two positioners after she had slide down (no matter how close/tight together I put them), multiple times, I finally gave up. The purpose was to make her safer, but in actuality it put her in more danger of suffucation.

My 5 week old daughter likes to sleep in her car seat. I bought this product to put in her crib, hoping she will like the incline of the foam and feeling secure between the two wedges. I have yet to use it but just wanted to let people know that the quality of the product is very cheap (both in looks and feeling) - $20 is too much to pay for this. However, if it does help my daughter to sleep in her crib - its purpose is worth way more than $20!

Great positioner for the first months

I've used this positioner for both my son & daughter. It's great until your baby starts moving around and rolling over. My daughter had RSV at 5 months and this was a life saver in helping her stay a little more upright to breath. A little hard to clean if you have a super spit-up baby like my son. The cover does come off to machine wash but the foam inside has to be hand washed. Still handy though!

Not worth it

I used this positioner for a week before I realized it was so useless. It was too short to begin with, so the baby would have a funny arched back because her bottom wasn't fitting on the main piece and it was a pain in the neck to take the cover off to wash.
What scared me was my baby would shimmy down because of the incline and turn her head to the side and I'd have to catch her because I swear she'd suffocate if I didn't!
On a positive note, it was very soft and kept her from rolling, but when she was a few weeks old, could she really roll?
