These are really cute but I ordered them because they were supposedly big enough to send with a 4x6 picture - the actual size of the envelope is 5-3/4" x 4"...

These cards are invaluable. I have used these and similar cards from Target's Hot Hues line for years, and was only recently disappointed when I ran out and could no longer find them in the stores. They are the perfect cards to use for jotting a "thank you", a quick "hello, I'm thinking about you" or a simple "happy birthday" either to include on a gift or with a gift card in it. With stamps and glitter, they make beautiful invitations. The colors go great together. I've used different shaped paper punches on the envelopes to show the color of the card inside, and there are so many color combinations you can make. Suitable for a boy, a girl, anyone really. And SO much less expensive than your typical greeting or thank you card. There's really no limit to how simple or elaborate or personal you can make these. And while email and text messaging are great, they're really no substitute for the little thrill you can give someone by actually taking the time to write a warm, personal note and pop it in the mail. And these cards are perfect for that.

I keep these cards at my desk at work, and they have worked out perfectly for so many occasions. Whether it is that quick thank you note to your aunt you keep forgetting to send, a last minute birthday card for a co-worker, or to write a quote on and leave at someone's desk to make their day. I'm a bit artsy, so I like them being completly blank to doodle artwork or henna designs on.
The colors are happy and go great with Sharpie colors! I like to mix and match the colors of the cards with the envelopes.

I have used these for everything from invitations to notes to bookmarks to Valentines. They are the perfect size and shape for any fun project. I always buy extra to have on hand in case of an event or project!
