This frame worked great for a while, but now, less than six months the screen went black. Discovering that I could still see shadows of images with full direct sunlight, I called Customer Technical Support and was told that the backlight is burned out and the frame needs to be replaced. I'd have to go to Target, with a receipt, and it was a GIFT (and gifted more than their 90 day policy allows). I have a call in to their Service Center, but I doubt I'll be serviced.

My gripe is pretty much the same as other users, works for awhile, had a nice picture, then died for no reason one day.

If you need a temporary digital frame, this is the one. It's equivelant to a disposable camera. As soon as I'm done typing this reveiw, I will turn around and open the garbage can and send this piece of junk to it's new home. I am just another unsatisfied buyer of this frame obviously, I had mine for about a year, so I'm not even gonna bother dealing with customer service in either direction.
Keeping my blood pressure down, ADVICE: DO NOT BUY !!!

I had the same exact experience as other reviewers. It worked nicely for 9 months and then just quit. I called customer service and was told that there is no manufacturer's warranty on this product because it is manufactured specifically for Target. I was told that I need to call Target and ask for a repalcement...we'll see how that goes.

Just as the rest after a couple of months of usage the frame stop working...it plays music but it does not show pictures.
I noticed that in Additional Information, there is a comment that target accepts return on this product....did anyone try this out? Thks.

I bought this frame as a gift for my wife. Really enjoyed it for about 9 months til I noticed it wasn't on anymore. Turned it on and the screen has an orange haze for about 2 minutes, then it's good......for 8 more minutes when it shuts off by itself. Don't waste your time and money. Listen to the reviews and avoid this frame.

As with others in review of this product, our frame stopped working after 8 months also. We contacted Target about it and were referred to the Manufacturer because the Target receipt had expired. End result is that the manufacturer will not honor anything regarding the frame and pointed back to Target as having to resolve this issue. Avoid this product . For those still wanting to take this up for resolution, here is the Manufacturer info:
America Action 100 Exchange Place
Pomona, CA 91768
Reginald Johnson 1-909-869-660(Should not be customer facing person, VERY poor customer skills for a Manager)
Tech Support line is 1-800-918-3720
Good Luck......

Like all others - this frame worked for around 8 months. Now it doesn't come on at all. I can't find any information on the manufacturer, but it sounds like from the other reviews that it wouldn't make any difference anyway. I'm going to get a good 4x6 printed picture and stick it in front of the frame - maybe that'll work.

Got it for Mother's Day by the time I found out how to put stuff back on memory cards (not tech savvy and was laid up from a really bad accident most of last year) I found out it was defective and would only show 648 pic's of my 881 on card.
Target would only replace if it was exactly the same as what they have in store now and the sku has changed. Bought my mom one at Walgreens much better frame (beautiful wood) and shows all the pic's on card and 10 bucks cheaper than this frame is selling for now at target. So I guess I'm stuck looking at 2 1/2 out of 4 vacations till this frame dies like everyone elses seems to have after few months.

I bought this frame for my office in December 2007. This morning I get to work and the picture frame is not working. Mine lasted 1 year and 2 months. Based on the other reviews it sounds like I got lucky.
I highly regret buying this frame from Target. I believe it cost around [price]-- total waste of money!
Do not buy this frame-- it is junk!
