I bought this broom vac so I wouldn't have to use a broom and dust pan..Let just say after 1 use I took it back to the store. It's heavy, ackward to use and quite frankly I'd rather use my broom and dust pan any day. It made my back hurt just using it.
This is a waste. Who ever designed this product must have never swept a floor a day in their life.

I bought this because I thought it would be very convenient and I do like that you don't have to carry around a dustpan, but the suction on this is poor. It does not sweep well under things...I can never get it to clean under my cabinets or under tables very well without having to move things around and hold the sweeper straight up. I am very disappointed in this product and would not recommend it. I've only had it a couple of months and I'm looking for something new. Others I know that have bought it do not like it either...not worth the money!!

I had a Swiffer Sweep & Vac previously and it was terrible and also didn't hold a charge. My mom and I both got one of these to do quick sweeps for hair and dust bunnies on our hardwoods. Works fabulous for that!!! And it seems to hold a charge forever. I haven't had mine plugged in for about 2 weeks and it still has tons of power. Easy to clean out, too.
The only complaint my mom had is that it doesn't seem to sweep up little stones well, but other than that it's great!

Got this for Christams and it is a bad product. It sweeps like a broom but you have to work at it to get it to get it to vacuum it up.

I had high hopes for the Broom Vac but I learned right away what a waste of money this was. This product is very poorly designed. The filter is right on top (less than 1 inch space) of the suction opening, which make it clog up the filter and lose suction every few minutes. Everything that is sucked up sticks to the filter right away and stays there. There is also a learning curve on taking this thing apart without the dirt going everywhere. If I hadn't lost my receipt, this thing would go right back to the store, instead it's going in the trash. It is really much faster to sweep.

This dirt devil broom vac picks up pretty good but the only bad thing about it is that it doesn't get into smaller places like a regular broom can.

This vacuum doesn't work very well at all. I have a 2 year old that is contantly dropping crumbs so I thought this may be more convenient then a broom and dust pan, but its not, get a hand vac or stick vac instead!

I got this for a x-mas gift and I wish I would have bought it myself much earlier. With 3 kids, 2 dogs and a husband it has comes in great use. It picks up everything, dog hair, dust, crumbs and even play dough. I don't sweap with it first just go around with the vac on. I highly suggest every busy mom has one.

This product barely picks up crumbs & the longer you own it the less it picks up; you'll just end up using a broom/dust pan to pick up what this broom vac leaves behind. Waste of time & money!

Honestly Bad from an Honest Reviewer

My husband and I were really looking forward to getting this product. We had read the reviews and thought with our two Labs and ~1000 sq ft. of hardwood and laminate floors, we would be in good shape. Unfortunately, after only 1 use, we are returning the broom vac and writing our disappointed review. I will admit that were not expecting much (we understood that it is not a vacuum) and sadly the broom vac could not even live up to that. We followed all directions for the first charge (they say 24hrs charge time out of the box) and after only ~15 minutes the battery was all but dead and the motor stopped. We were also extremely disappointed in the broom vac's apparent lack of ability to actually suck up anything. I realize it is only $50, and again, went into it not expecting much, but in all honesty the product is (in this users case and opinion) nothing more than a colorful broom (and a poor one at that) with a motor and a battery attached. Good idea, disappointing product.
