This vacuum really doesn't pick anything up. It makes a lot of noise--but that's it. Small things like pieces thread do not get sucked up. I bought this because the price was low. I feel like I should spent more to get a REAL vacuum cleaner.

I bought this vacuum because I'm a guy, and I'm lazy. So i don't like sweeping the floors, plus I own a dog. It does its job for the price, but it doesn't really pick everything up like its supposed to. Suction power from the sides of the vacuum its bad, plus it blows air from the bottom of the motor. So I can see hairballs flowing up in the air before I even get to vacuum them. If you are vacuuming one side of the room, the other side is getting tons of air making the dust flow right up in the air. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who has pets.

I ended up returning the vacuum. It had plenty of suction for a quick pick up and was nice and light and manueverable, but it was so loud we needed earplugs.

This vacuum cleaner has great suction and pick up. It really cleans hard surface floors good. A nice feature is that it tilts down to floor to clean under chairs. It is light and easy to store. Only complaint is that its powerful motor is a bit loud.

So I really wanted this to be a great product, it's easy to assemble, cheap, streamlined, etc. But what everyone's been saying is true, it's VERY loud and blows air out in a way that makes it difficult to use. Things get blown around and you have to sort of chase after them. I wanted it for my hardwood floors, something better than sweeping up with a traditional broom, but now after one use I'm really hoping I can take it back and get something else! I realized that even though I wasn't making this decision consciously, I haven't used it again because of the noise! It's just too jarring and it freaked out my two little kittens not to mention me.

I wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Vents on the side of the vac blow air out so hard that anything you're trying to pick up is quickly blown into the air only to settle again moments later. Suction is horrible! Hopefully Target will allow me to exchange for a product t hat does what it is supposed to.

I bought this so that I could easily vacuum up dog fur and dust bunnies around the house. It has a lot of suction but it is very loud and it really does blow the dog fur and dust bunnies all around. I fear for folks who have allergies because you will be breathing in all of that dust. I doesn't work at all on rugs or carpet. Also, it doesn't fit under the sofa or entertainment center. I end up bringing my bulky canister cleaner out aanyway...
Save your money, don't buy this vac!

I can't stand this vacuum! Like the other reviews I have read, it is deafening! The cord is short, the suction is poor. Larger particles (ex. food crumbs) end up getting pushed around. It also blows air out so dust bunnies go flying around. So for a vacuum that is supposed to be for a quick clean up, you end up spending all your saved time plugging and unplugging, sweeping up missed particles, and chasing dust bunnies around. Don't bother!!

This is the best electric broom I've ever had. We have 2 constantly shedding dogs, and it picks up all hair and dirt from our tiled kitchen and hardwood floors with ease, and even works for a little light pickup on carpet. But the best part is my husband loves using it so much, he's been vacuuming every day! Don't know whether it's the power (12 amps) or the instant gratification he gets from seeing the collected doghair through the clear bagless container, but ladies, if you want your husband to do more housework, get him a he-man tool like this! To the manufacturer: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU - this is my dream come true.

When folks write this lil' machine makes Lear jet noises I thought they are over-exaggerating - but NOPE this is one LOUD and VERY powerful machine. We have 2 furry dogs and use it often & quickly (seriously the sound is deafening!) to spot clean the floors, not so easy to maneuver on carpet but, on flooring it will take off on you if your not holding on it's that powerful! So mixed reviews 5 for power & efficiency but 1 on sound/noise quality.
