This chair is great! I got it (and the pink one) a couple of days ago to put in my bedroom in my apartment for when friends come over. It sits quite low -- as you should expect from a dish chair, I think -- but it makes it perfect for the TV stand that I purchased (it makes me eye level with the TV stand, which is about 26" high). It's comfortable, and I can sit with my legs crossed in it (I'm 5'2"). I had some taller guests over and they all felt comfortable sitting in it, too. Comes already assembled, and it folds so that you can store it, although the dish part doesn't fold so you probably won't be able to fit it in a closet unless you have a big closet.
One word of warning: my 2-year-old cousin attempted to sit in this chair twice, and twice she fell over. This was accomplished when she leaned out of the chair to get something, and the second time when she leaned backwards. The same thing didn't happen when me and another adults sat in it, so I'm thinking it's just not good for small children to attempt to sit in this.

I bought one of these for my oldest daughter when she headed off to college 2 years ago and it's still in great shape. Now my 2nd daughter is about to begin college and I plan to purchase another one for her.

Nice chair, but small if you are considering it for a young man with any height. Works in the dorm room though. Good value.
