The sleeping bag / bed is cute, but there is no air pump. It only takes a few minutes to blow it up by blowing in it. But it was kind of a pain. I would not recommend it if your child plans to use it at a sleep over, as they would not be able to inflate it themselves. I didn't see where there was an optional pump to purchase, and the valve is not made for a tire pump.

My grandkids love this when they spend the night. Coleman makes a great little pump that blows it up in about 20-30 seconds. I don't know how anyone could blow this up blowing into it, it doesn't have a mouth piece! If you worry about your child sufficating you have bigger problems than inflating an air mattress! I would recommend this to anyone with common sense!

My 3 yo used this bed for the first time tonight.

When I went to check on him, the bed was tipped over, and he was nowhere to be found. I thought he'd simply crawled into our bed - and I was panicked when I saw that our bed was empty. I lifted up a corner of the EZ Bed, and found him under it, still zipped in. I was scared to death for a few seconds, thinking he'd suffocated under the plastic.

My best guess is that he rolled over and off the bed. Since he was zipped in and attached to the bed, this flipped the bed over on top of him. If he'd been unable to breathe, it's likely that he'd have been unable to wriggle free.

DO NOT BUY THIS BED. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS BED AS A PRESENT. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD SLEEP IN THIS BED AT SOMEONE ELSE'S HOUSE.

Our 2 yr. old grandson loves his bed. He gets excited everytime we bring it out and is eager to hop right in. The only thing I recommend is to use a crib size mattress pad between the mattress and bedding. We discovered the first night that everytime he moved it was really, REALLY noisy!

The item does not come with any instructions/directions. I emailed Exxcel Outdoors (maker) and was told that any mattress air pump will work to inflate. This item is way too much to blow air into manually.

The bed was nice and the little boy I bought it for enjoyed it,but I was a little concerned that it does not come with a pump or inform you as such and also that it did not come with a pillow as shown.

This bed is all for show, not practical in any way. It is annoying to inflate. The sheets are hard and itchy. The pillow is pathetic. Besides "looking cool" there is really no point to using this inflatable bed. My kids are ages 3 and 4 and both weigh 40 pounds or less, and they even said the bed is not comfortable. I bought the same bed in Disney Princess for my daughter and it had a hole in it after the 2nd time!!! I would NOT buy it again.
