I bought this desk at a great price and it arrived at my doorstep for only [price]/including tax. The wooden material of the table feels great and it looks amazing in my my home.
I read other reviews and concerns about keyboard drawer( being loose). My keyboard drawer is pretty stable. The keyboard hideaway drawer is secured by a inside magnet..

It is easy to assemble as well... It takes only 10 minutes to assemble.. It only requires attaching the legs w/screws to the table. It is so easy..

I love, love, love this desk.. It is one of the best purchases.. I ever made in my life.. The wood finish is beautiful.. It looks like something you would normally find in a Bombay store.

I would recommend purchasing this desk to everyone.. I am contemplating buying more pieces from the dolce collection for my home office.

I ordered the side table, folding bookcase, and desk from this collection, and the desk arrived (packaging unscathed) with a ding on the top. It's very noticeable and impossible to fix. Otherwise, this desk would be fabulous. It's easy to assemble and substantial. It doesn't feel like a flimsy piece of cardboard. It's just truly unfortunate that it already looks "used."

My first purchase online and to say the least was very skeptical, but desk arrived yesterday and what a gorgeous piece of furniture. No shipping charge and item arrived at least 4 days sooner then the anticipated arrival date. A few minor flaws here and there but nothing to concern yourself over. 8 screws to install and 15 minutes later you have it ready to use. Very pleased and will not be so uncertain on my next online purchase.

This desk was so cute and simple I had to have it. Until UPS dropped it off. Literally! You could tell even before opening the box that the desk was damaged. It looks as if UPS dropped the desk on one side causing an entire corner to break off. Then to add insult to injury it looks like they dragged the desk across something extremely sharp causing a very deep cut across the desktop. I can't really blame UPS in a way because Target did a horrible job packaging the desk to begin with. Only an extremely thin layer of sheet foam separating the desktop from the cardboard, then small cardboard/thin foam edging protecting the desk corners. I'm going to order this desk one more time! Then I give up.

I was apprehensive to order after reading the recent reviews on the shipping, but UPS delivered the desk today---several days ahead of schedule. Everything was in great shape, and the desk went together in less than 10 minutes. It seems like a great piece, especially for the price; it feels quite sturdy and looks much better than the pictures. I'm really quite pleased and am sure to be back.

I've purchased furniture (and a lot of other items) from Target online before and haven't had any problems until now.

Unfortunately, like the other recent reviewers, the keyboard drawer on mine was not aligned, and would not close properly or completely. It looked like it was put together quickly and there was no quality assurance done, or it would not have passed.

There was also an issue with the varnishing/stain. It looked as if the desk had been boxed or handled before it had dried completely, so the stain and varnish was uneven and smeared. It was on the front of the desk and very noticable. Again, had there been some quality assurance checks done, it might not have passed and would have saved me a lot of time and energy returning it. I had to arrange to have a friend lift and transport it to a local Target store for me. They refunded my money no questions asked, but don't carry this item in the store so I couldn't exchange it or check the quality before taking it home.

I was just going to order another one online, but now I'm not sure I want to risk it again. Seems like there is currently a bad batch of these desks floating around. They aren't available in the stores so you just have to take your chances if ordering this one online.

On the positive side, this desk is very easy to put together. Just attach the four legs and you're done. It is a handsome piece, but I unfortunately can't recommend it because of the poor workmanship.

Pretty finish, but cheaply made. Keyboard tray won't stay closed because the tray front's hinges were not put on square. We tried to square it up, but only minor improvements could be made without actually destroying the tray front. It's a low-cost desk, but also low quality.

This desk is very nice! I was worried that by the picture of it online it may be too small but no way its just the right size. I have a desk lamp, pin holder, floppy desk holder, mail holder,card holder and paper holder all on the desk as well as my laptop! With all that i still have plenty of room!
Very easy to assemble! The color is rich and it has the right look for my formal living room.

I ordered two of these desks and one came in totally damaged, 2 legs - one busted and one missing the nut and the key board tray was warped and the hinges so warped the door wouldn't close. Target replaced this piece only to recieve another damaged keyboard tray with the hinge on one side warped and won't close properly. Target would not replace this item for the second time with one alike but suggested replacing with a different item. This was not acceptable since I bought two desks to match in the same room. They did offer to give me 20% off which I accepted and I will try to replace the hinge on my own.
