Most importantly-this is not a true dark walnut color, actually a dark cherry or red mahogany. I was already aware of this, so it was not a problem. Purchased 2 along with the matching coffee table. Great look for the price. It does scratch easily, thanks to my crazy cat. The drawers are just large enough for a remote or two, a couple coasters, or set of keys. Nice simple design and very easy to assemble.

First of all, I must say that I am thrilled with how quickly I received my order!! I ordered these on Thursday morning and received them Friday afternoon! I've never had such quick turnaround time and I do a LOT of online shopping!

The tables themselves are very nice looking, considering the price. These are not expensive tables so if you are looking for something that looks super rich, these are probably not for you. However, I purchased the coffee table & 2 end tables for my family room and didn't want to make a huge investment since my 5 & 3 year olds have already destroyed my nicer, pre-parenthood furniture. ;) They seem to be quite sturdy, are a great style and are SIMPLE to put together. We'll see how they hold up, but according to other reviewers, they hold up nicely.

As others have said, the tables definitely have a bit of cherry in the coloring. They are definitely NOT just "dark walnut" as the description states. But against our chocolate-colored sofa they do look more brown than red, so I think it depends on your decor.

I bought two of these for my family room and was very disappointed in the quality. From across the room they look great. But when you are next to them, you can see that the wood is very cheap. The wood is rough and hard to clean since cleaning cloths get stuck on it. Both have defects that are very unattractive and unnatural. Would not buy them again.

I ordered three end tables, a coffee table, console table plus the desk and hutch. I like all of them very much. The color is a dark cherry finish and I would not consider it walnut toned. That is what I wanted, and I ordered them after reading other reviews stating they looked cherry. They are a nice style, and sturdy. They are not fiberboard, they are real wood. They were easy to put together, had them all together in a short time. Here is a tip for assembling items with those allen wrenches. Cut one end off & put it in your cordless drill & use as a drill bit. Much faster & easier! All pieces arrived damage free & packed well. The only thing I would change, is I wish the end tables were a little taller, as they would fit up against the ends of my sofa better if they were about 4" taller. Other than that, I am very pleased; good tables for the money.

I am very pleased with my Dolce Walnut coffee table and end tables. I especially like the rich color of the wood and they are sturdy tables. They were very easy to assemble and a good buy for the money. Only 4 stars however, because the finish could have been better- a little more sanding and another coat of varnish.

Ok so I already have the matching console table which is beautiful and figured for the price let's get two matching end tables.. While they are very great pieces they're miniature and look like children's furniture. The tables are barely noticeable in height and sadly I'll be returning them.. How disappointing. On another note the bookshelf in this collection is a perfect find..

This is a lovely piece. It was extremely easy to assemble (about 15 minutes max) and it arrived without defect. I love the Dolce family of furniture; it matched the other pieces beautifully. The dark finish will show a few nicks & dings if not handled gently, but I've been able to cover over these with a furniture marker without a problem. I plan to purchase another one to match. For the money, I have been extremely satisfied. Lovely piece.

I love this table. It looks great and has lots of other pieces that can be added to the room. I was heart broken when I couldn't find the three drawer console table online in early December. I called in to complain and now its back Yeh!!
Thank You Target, for keeping this collection available since about 2003. Please keep up the good work!

TOP IS NOT REAL WOOD , PAINT COMES OFF VERY EASILY AND VERY QUICKLY!!! SAME FOR ALL THE PIECES!!!!!WASTE OF MONEY, I HAVE HAD IT A FEW YEARS BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND MORE MONEY ON CHEAP FURNITURE......
