Assembly took me 10 minutes (once out of the carton) and I agree with other reviews that it looks more cherry than walnut-colored. The box arrived in less-than-par condition but luckily it was triple-boxed so as to prevent damages. The area around one of the drop-leaf hinges is kind of marred, but it is on the underside and appears to function properly. The table is rated to hold 400 lbs on the center section. Looks great with the Dolce chairs! Overall, a very good purchase!

OH MY GOSH!!! [...] The table is beautiful, sooooo easy to assemble. Like the other reviews say, it took maybe 10 minutes and I did it by myself! (and I'm not a weight lifting exercise fanatic :) Color is a tad darker than shown but it was absolutely perfect. I had dark chairs I was trying to match and if I didn't know better they look like I bought them together! I'm hooked, I now will be shopping Target's furniture all the time!!

I received the Dolce drop-leaf dining table with two chairs, and i absolutely love it. My boyfriend who put the table and chairs together was very impressed with the all-wood construction, and quality of the wood and stain. The wood is quite soft, so id recommend being careful what you place on top of the table. The chairs are beautiful, and comfortable. HOWEVER, this is now the third time I have received a product from Target that was only available online, and the third time i received the product with the box totally torn and beat up. The top of my table has a large dent in the wood, but the process of returning/exchanging the table is ridiculous, so ill deal with it. Target should really reconsider the shipping process and the quality of the product once the customer receives it. I probably will not order a product from Target online again.

This table is a lot heavier than I expected, so I'm glad I ordered it online. It was a cinch to put together--you only need to attach the legs and get it upright. I managed it, but I recommend two people. With the leaves down there is still plenty of room for two-person dining. Four people might be a little crowded with the leaves up, but not miserable. The color is more dark red mahagony color than brownish espresso. Fine by me because I was compromising for the best table. As it turns out it's exactly the color I wanted in the first place.

Super nice. Nice size for small space. Beautiful color that goes perfectly with my other dark wood pieces. Super easy to assemble and looks like it cost a lot more than it did. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it tends to scratch a little easier than I would like

I ordered this table on Sunday and received it on Tuesday. The table was well packed and easy to put together. It is well made and looks perfect in the area in which I purchased it for. Table was heavier than expected but that is a plus, makes it more sturdy. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a smaller table. I also ordered the chairs just waiting on them hope they are of the same quality.

I've had this table and the matching chairs for 2 years and absolutely love the set! It's really beautiful and easy to assemble. I've used the set in a larger dining space as a dining table and in a small studio as a desk.

The table looks great and is very sturdy. It is wonderful for my eat in kitchen space. Super easy to assemble. The original one I ordered was damaged, but they sent me a new one in two days.
