Description
When B5 first back-flipped onto the music scene in 2005, young girls everywhere took one look at the handsome Breeding brothers and gasped with joy. Ranging in ages from 11 to 17 the brothers were the perfect package: good looking, talented, charming. Their self-titled debut CD was a top 20 hit on the Billboard 200 and peaked at number seven on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Chart. Their images graced fanzine covers month after month and they created a frenzy everywhere they went. They even caused the shut down of a Minneapolis mall when some 2000 fans rushed the stage during a free concert there. After a seemingly unending round of tours and promotional appearances and a successful alliance with the Disney phenomenon known as High School Musical, the five Breeding brothers of B5, consisting of Dustin 19, Kelly 18, Patrick 16, Carnell 15 and Bryan 13, are back, all grown up and showing off a new mature sound. Their sophomore album is set for release on Diddys Bad Boy Records and the title, Dont Talk, Just Listen, says it all. Co-Executive Producer Kevin Wales had a great idea and after discussing it with the group they all knew the title was right. Dustin explains, we came up with that title because we want people to let go of their old notions about who we are and listen to what we have to say. And what the boys are saying is pretty much what youd expect of teenage boys on the verge of manhood. Its still clean music but it has more of an edge, says Kelly. Were not talking about how we cant wait to see a girl in school the next day [as in their 2005 single, All I Do], were talking about chilling and dancing in the clubs; were talking about girls, like all teenagers do.

Dont Talk, Just Listen is a phenomenal cd. The songs are perfect. Just enough slow songs and just enough club songs. They really show the growth vocally and lyrically.

If you thought B5 was just another boy band, this album proves you couldn't be more wrong. The Breeding brothers - Dustin, Kelly, Patrick, Carnell and Bryan have been compared to the Jackson 5. This album proves that they have the talent to be the band that defines their generation.
The album starts with "Hydrolics", a collabo with rapper Bow Wow. From the potential club bangers "What It Do", "Right to Left" and "How You Not Gonna" to smooth, sweet ballads like "In My Bedroom", "She Got It Like That" and "All Over Again" the boys take you on a musical ride that makes you forget whatever preconceived notions you have about boy bands. This is an album that anyone who enjoys good music will appreciate. B5 is sure to gain new fans of all ages with this album.

B5's sophomore album, "Don't Talk, Just Listen", will be an excellent addition to your CD collection.
Parents, if you want to buy your daughter a CD that does not degrade women, talk about sex, or curse, then this album is perfect. It's clean (no curses at all) and mainly based on dancing and relationships. No, not baby mama drama. When I say relationships I mean how they would respect their girl and how important she is to them. On this CD there is nothing about how the boy is this "gangsta" and this ego of his. Wouldn't you rather her listen to that instead of 50 Cent?
Guys, if you really appreciate your girl, you want to show it, and you have nice vocals then why not sing her one of B5's songs? [ She's Got It Like That would be an excellent choice. ]
Girls, if you're looking for a new boy band group then this is one for you. So what if they're not talking about sex? Do we really need to listen to another artist that only sings about that? No. If you like songs about new hot dances then buy the CD and listen to "Hydrolics". When you learn the dance you can add your own style to it and do it anywhere.
In conclusion there's no cons about buying "Don't Talk, Just Listen". It's for people of all ages so don't worry if you're 8 or 16. Like I said before, it will be an excellent addition to your CD collection. [...]

Just as the title indicates: Don't Talk, Just Listen. Forget everything you think you know about this band, and don't write B5 off as just another boy band. This is an excellent album that shows maturity without being raunchy, and showcases great music with excellent harmonies over some of the hottest beats you can imagine. My personal favorites are "No One Else" (an a capella treat that showcases just how much their voices have matured since their remake of "All I Do"), "What It Do" (definite single material with its dancible beat and flawless harmonies), "She Got It Like That", and "Things I Would Do" (2 beautiful ballads).
The first single, "Hydrolics" (which features Bow Wow) is a banger that music fans of all ages were rockin to over the summer. This is an album that music fans of all ages and backgrounds can truly appreciate, not just B5 fans.

I can not stress how amazing this album sounds. B5 has matured so much from their last one, I think that people should listen to the newest one and think of what they think of B5 now. There not at the whole sex, drug booty poppin stage(and never will because they make the hottest clean music!). GO COP THEIR ALBUM DONT TALK JUST LISTEN IN STORE SNOW!
