This item is absolutely dangerous according to WATCH (it is on the top ten most dangerous products list). One look at the warnings and instructions inside should scare any parent away from putting this lamp in a child's room. Wow.

This item made the top 10 bad toy list. I had this for my daughter in her room. The bulb is beginning to burn the plastic inside of the lamp. Yeah thats real safe for a lamp intended for a young child's room.

It is a very cute lamp, however, the plastic lamp comes apart from the metal spring very easily. When I noticed that the lamp was not straight, I picked the lamp up and felt how hot the plastic had become. The lightbulb almost burned straight through the shade, almost causing a fire if I had not caught it. I would not suggest buying this lamp for any child's room.

This Dora lamp is very cute, but comes attatched to a metal spiral base not shown in the picture. If you walk by and the floor shakes it will not stay upright.
