I have had the Duplo Lego's in my house for 20 years. My kids loved them when they were little and spent hours using their imaginations to build "their creations". Now my nieces, nephew, and children who come to visit play with them. They last forever and are timeless fun.

When my first child was born a friend said, "If you only buy one toy, buy Legos." 34 years later, that child and his children are still enjoying these, plus more that are constantly added to the collection. It was the best advice I've ever been given.
