I think this duvet cover looks great and I paired it with white sheets that had dark brown pin stripes. I think this would go very well with otehr dark colors such as plum, dark orange, and teal. or to lighten things up, white and pastel teal. So far, the fabric appears to be good quality.

A few things that I wish I knew before I ordered:
1. there are ties on the inside to tie the comforter corners in place -- very handy.
2. the buttons go along the bottom. I wish they went down one side (I like to turn my comforter around every week to keep it fluffy) but maybe along the bottom is standard for covers. what I do like is that they are hidden in a panel.
3. The color is a pretty shade of pale yellowish-green (chartreuse). if you are a design geek like me, I'd say it's pretty close to Pantone 612.
4. the trim around the edges is very dark brown, almost black. "warm" black.

I just bought this comforter set and I love it! I agree with the other review here, it would pair well with darker colors. It does have a simple, sophisticated look going.
