Poor fit and sticky residue

I found this in my local target store and liked the design. The most notable reason I bought it was the statement 'Removable Adhesive no residue left behind'. I figured for 15.00 if I didn’t like it I could remove it.
I installed the product and it did not fit. There was 1/2 in gap on all sides. After installing it and seeing how poor the fit was I decided remove it.
It left a sticky residue all over my new mini. I have spent the past hour trying to carefully remove the residue without scratching my cover. I'm still working on removing the residue.
I would strongly recommend people to NOT buy this product unless you want a permanent cover on your mini that fits poorly.
