These are really nice brushes and for the price you can't beat it!! Eco-friendly and made from sustainable and recycled materials. They're light weight & very comfortable. Eco-tools make their brushes with bamboo handles, which provides both a low impact environmental effect and attractiveness. The ferule (silver band that holds bristles) is also ecologically thoughtful, being made from recycled aluminum. The brushes come packaged in a reusable and bio-degradable sleeve; each with an earth-friendly tip on the back. Synthetic taklon bristles do a perfectly good job of evenly applying makeup. Usually even the best cheap brushes lose a few hairs when they are new but not these. The bristles have a very soft feel. You won't be disappointed.

If you are familiar with other ecotools brushes, you will be expecting larger brushes. These brushes are soft, but they are miniscule. The handles are very short. If you take that into account while viewing the picture of the brushes, you will notice that the brush heads are not that large either. Also, the kabuki brush is not much more dense than the larger powder brush in the set, so it is useless for full coverage. They are awkward to handle because they are so small. If these were marketed as what they are, a travel brush set, I would give them 5 stars. Also, please note that the hemp and cotton cosmetics bag is so small that it is useless for anything more than a mascara and lipstick, and that it is not a case for carrying the brushes, as it is not roomy enough to slide the brushes in without damaging and bending their bristles. I will have to purchase other brushes.

i love Eco Tools brushes. they are soo soft and i use them every day. i have several other eco tools brushes and thats how i discovered them. i'm so glad i did because they are great they really work well to put on eyeshadow and to even smudge it to give a smokey look. they also aply mineral powder very well and evenly. i would have given these a 4 1/2 but that wasnt an option, so, the only thing wrong with these brushes is that the kabooki brush looks bigger in the picture, its smaller than what i thought i was going to get..but overall eco tools always has great brushes

These brushes are super soft, especially for the price. They are not like the ultra top end brushes but they are comparable to some of the [..] brushes. I use the Kabuki for my mineral makeup and it applies and blends wonderfully.

I just bought these brushes and I absolutely love them! They are so soft to the touch and, as they state, great for mineral makeup. I use the Bareminerals mineral makeup and since the brushes that come with that line are so expensive, I wanted to see if these brushes would do the job of applying the makeup at half the cost. They work so well! I haven't found any flaws with them what so ever! Also, not only are the brushes eco-friendly, but the pouch is too! I definately recommend this to anyone who uses any type of mineral makeup or just liquid makeup. Wonderful!
