Neat gift for those who have everything

I purchased this as a gift for my father in law. It was very well packed and arrived lighning fast. (You should try be home when it arrives since it can't sit out in cold weather or in high heat.) Our sphere wasn't nearly as pretty as the one pictured (one branch that doesn't really fit & so stays vertical from side to side) but it had more shrimp than I expected (5) and it was very well received by everyone who saw it. I do wish it came with a stand, and that the little branch was down in the water instead of stuck in the middle.

I purchased this as a gift for my 11-year old niece for Christmas this year. The shipping was very fast and it was very well packaged. There are 5 shrimp in the ecosphere and they are very active. I am certain she will enjoy it, and it requires very little care. So her parents will enjoy it also! My kids think it is so cool, I will probably end up getting one for them. I am very pleased.

I seen this in another type of store for double the money! when i seen it here on Target I got 4 of them, one for myself the other as three xmas gifts, it is truely a facinating gift idea! they are a unique gift for any age!

I originally wanted one of these adorable Ecospheres for a gift for christmas. I was very upset when I had ordered it the begining of November an my order still hadn't come by mid December. I called an was told it was lost in the mail. They were courteous enough to fast ship me out one that came within 2 or 3 days. When it got here I opened it an was upset that it only had 2 shrimp in it. I don't think Target/Amazons prices are any cheaper at all then any other stores. I compared an they were all very close in price but Target/Amazon was a name I thought I more trusted. I won't order from them again because of this. An Ecosphere I got about 1 1/2 months later then it was shipped, that only had 2 shrimp in it.

I bought the EcoSphere as a Christmas gift for my husband.
We have had so many compliments on the Ecosphere.
It is a great conversation piece, you will find yourself staring at the shrimp and everything inside the EcoSphere.
Our children also enjoy watching the shrimp swim around and this is also educational NOT only for kids but for adults.
AMAZING!!!!! 100% plus satisfied.
I do have plans to purchase a larger Ecosphere.

I placed an order for the 4 inch sphere on a Monday and it arrived that Thursday. Once I got it out and gave the shrimps some time to get used to not moving 4 of them appeared, full of energy! It is a truly unique gift and a wonderful thing to witness. It's like having your own little science expiriment to watch and pets that take care of themselves. It's perfect!

The Ecosphere came exactly as pictured. Afterwards, I thought I was a little crazy for spending the $60. The life expectancy is only 2 years. After 24 hours, I did not see even one shrimp swimming around or alive. The enclosed instructions say you have to return the faulty sphere along with another $20 to get a replacement!
