I bought this dress for Valentine's Day - I am a petite 60 year old - and everyone loved it - wanted to know where I got it. In fact, I bought 4 dresses of Erin Fetherston and I just love them! So well made - lined, good quality fabric, I just wish she would continue to make clothes for Target. I am a Fetherston fan!

When I first saw this dress I tried it on in the size 3 and 5 and it was a disaster! Didn't look or fit right at all. However, I tried it again on another trip and the size 7 was just right! I think you need to try on a few sizes to find the one that works. It's not great if you are busty, I'm a B-cup so I think I just skim the border on being able to wear this dress well. The fabric is just wonderful, gorgeous soft silk which is not cheap at all, the heart buttons and best of all the fact that it's not fitted makes it more comfy and forgiving of your waistline. Just putting this on makes me feel in a happy playful mood...order a few sizes, take back the ones that don't fit, it's worth it!

If you have a full figure or a heavy upper body DO NOT get this dress. It will make you look pregnant. For me, I am very skinny with so it works :)

I tired this dress on at the store and it looked AWEFUL on me...I looked like i was pregnant with a mommy's glow, the fitting was really weird (I am a 34d and 5 6'). I think the empire waist is not for everyone esp. when the dress goes out soo much at the bottom. This dress would probably look good on girls who are smaller uptop but then again I looked at the ad for this dress and it didnt look too flattering on the model either.

I own several pieces from this collection. I really wanted to love this dress. It looked so cute in person. But when I put it on, I was dissapointed. The fit was terrible around my c cup bustline. The 5 was too tight but the seven was too big. The quality of the dress was nice but I looked like a 5 year old in it. I purchaed the red satin jumper instead. Fit great and was sexier then this piece.

The dress is cute. I love the heart buttons and the peterpan collar. The fabric is wonderful, but the fit was bad on me. Not good for a busty girl.

This dress is adorable! I got it for my daughter in my nearest target store for [a great price] yesterday January 8, 2008. My daughter couldn't believe the price and that I bought it for her. This is an amazing dress. She just has a little problem getting into the dress. Get these while they last!

Bought this dress on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Since my legs are my best attribute, and I am not that busty, I decided to take a chance. It fit me fine. I actually wore my garter belt and fishnet stockings(yes, fishnet stockings) and stiletto heels--made this fortyish girl feel twenty years younger. Again, just be careful sitting, bending and reaching up or you could end up showing more than you prefer.

I am 55 years old and a size 7. This dress is so cute, but the only way I would wear it would be with black tights or black leggings. Great Christmas and Valentine's dress. Also, if you buy this dress at the store it's reduce to $14.99! What a steal!!! Love It. ~smile~

in agreement with many other reviews- the bustline isnt very flattering. i tried it on in the store and its cute.. but the bustline just a tad too high. it looked OK with my b-cup figure, but the silk is also very thin and clingy (of course) and even with the tshirt i was wearing when i tried on the dress, you could see every single line on my lacy bra. so you would definitely need a seamless bra with this dress, if it happens to actually look good on you.
