I fell in love with this piece and by the time we decided to buy it, we ended up traveling to 5 Target stores before we finally found one (calling didn't help, they all thought they had it when they actually didn't). We've had it for about 6 months and are still quite pleased with it. Before we assembled the unit, we took the base piece to a home improvement store and purchased 4 large wheels to add to the bottom so we could roll it close to the sofa for movie viewing. The doors fold back all the way, and I added hooks in the back that hook to the door handles to keep the doors open when we want them open. It is difficult to access the back of the components on the bottom shelf so we considered cutting a hole in the lower back panel.

Although this armoire is very good looking, do not buy it! I have had it for about two years. Ever since we have put it together it has been wobbly. It sways back and forth so much that we are afraid to open and close the doors often on it. I bought several pieces out of this collection and most were great, except for this which feels like it is going to collapse. We have tried several times to make it more sturdy by using a couple nails, glue, etc. I love Target, but this purchase makes me leary to buy other entertainment centers from them. Also, if you are looking at the coffee table, I would avoid it. It's cute and sturdy, but if you are like me and use the living room table to eat dinner at occassionally, all the crumbs fall in the little cracks and are very tough to get out. I stopped using mine after a year because I was so sick of having to clean the cracks so carefully.

My husband and I have wanted to purchase this entertainment center for months, and finally broke down and bought it last week. (the shipping was amazingly fast)

WE LOVE THE WAY THIS LOOKS!

The assembly took quite a bit longer than we thought it would, and was slightly frustrating. The screws are tiny and it makes it difficult to work with.

All in all, however, we are very please with our purchase.
Was worth the price!

Why, why oh why did not listed to the rest of you? I was trying to put this thing together for the better part of 3 hours this evening, and have finally given up. The screws are stripped from the wood, the cam bolts don't actually secure anything to anything, I cannot for the life of me get the dowels to line up with the holes and get the screws to match up with their respective holes at the same time. It's one or the other, but is evidently physically impossible to do both. It's ridiculous and unbelievably frustrating. It's like the thing is warped or something. Are they kidding with this thing? Seriously.

I purchased this and loved it at first but it falls apart quickly. I had it barely over a year and it was too weak to function and the doors wouldnt stay open. They would swing partially closed. In fact as I carried it outside to throw away, it fell apart in my hands. The hinges provided are not strong and they look cheap.

I loved the design, but $for one year is not worth it. Spend the extra bucks and get a sturdy piece of furniture.

I bought this over a year ago when I was in an apartment for the size and I have now moved into my first home. Through moving and all it has held up great and looks perfect. My husband didn't really have too hard of a time putting it together. I don't recommend a beginner to put it together but a few hours and he was done. Mine was on clearance but it really has been worth the money for us.

I've had this armoire for over a year now and I still love it! It was easy to assemble and looks fantastic. Company always comments on how expensive it looks. While there have been a few dings and scratches over the past year the touch up stain makes it look brand new again. This is definitely worth the money!!

I bought one for my mom and one for myself. We don't take good to putting furniture together so we had her brother to put them together. We LOVE it!!! The color is perfect and the space that it has and takes up is good. I'm not sure what happened with the others listed here, but my mom has had hers for a couple of years now and no issues.

I got it because it was so cheap but for the mess I'm putting up with trying to put it together it should have been way cheaper! I've been working on it since 12 and its almost 5 now. I'm doing everything I'm supposed to I even read all the directions and checked the parts before I started. The problem is the bottom shelf won't stay connected to the other ones while I put together the side because its connected to everything with wood dowels! So I tried to take part of the side off by unscrewing everything after I realized the bottom wouldn't stay on and the middle broke off the screw system thing! So now my husband is just going to use wood glue and try to fix it because I'm not messing with it again! Don't make the same mistake I did by buying this crap! The reviews were right!
