This is great in my daughters room---awesome color and comfort---not sure an adult would be comfortable in for very long! cleans well too!

I bought this chair for my daughter (9) in September. The color is great for a kid's room. In my opinion, the color on-line is pretty close to the color you get. It is not an amazing desk chair, but it is functional and sturdy enough for our purposes. It may not last forever, but her room may not be purple forever either! Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

THIS CHAIR IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. IF YOU WANT A CHAIR THAT CAUSES ACHES AND PAINS IN SHORT ORDER ON YOUR DERRIERE, THIS IS THE CHAIR FOR YOU.

IT GETS DIRTY EASILY AND NO REALLY GOOD WAY TO CLEAN IT EITHER.

DO NOT LIKE IT BUT I'M STUCK WITH IT.

Looks good in the picture but it is very ugly. The back didnt fit properly when my one arrived. My advice would be to avoid this one.

Bought this chair about six months ago. Looks nice but it is horrible structurally. Not very sturdy. The back of the chair was easily bent out of shape. The cloth does NOT easily clean. If you are buying this for a teen/child BEWARE.

The color is more of a magenta (dark pink) than a purple like in the picture. I would NOT buy it again.

Absolutely PERFECT, VIBRANT PURPLE DESK CHAIR! We got this chair to replace the very expensive, non-moveable, solid wood chair that coordinated with her VERY expensive, solid hardwood desk & hutch, which we purchased as a set (along with her entire bedroom set- total cost ~$12K), to encourage/establish very stable, daily homework skills (bought it before she started K). Of course, once she realized that Mom's desk chair swivels & rolls, that's all she's ever wanted- a swivel chair on rollers! We deemed this not especially safe when she was younger...But now that she's a bit older, & redoing her room in a purple theme, saw this on-line, read the reviews, & just couldn't resist this adorable chair- especially with the free shipping. Don't let the kid's high fashion appearance fool you- This chair is made to WORK as hard as your child does on his/her daily homework! Super style, easily maneuverable: it rolls, swirls & twirls, and the cushions provide very supportive comfort- cushions are very firm, just enough cushioning to provide relief on pressure points with long term homework assignments (seat, back & armrests). Wait, I'm not finished singing this chairs praises yet! Both the seat back position AND the chair's seat height are fully adjustable, with 2 separate, very easy to operate controls: 1) The pneumatic lever (air pressure controlled-uses the pressure or absence of your weight, to rise or lower the seat). That's the small lever you can see as pictured just underneath the chair. Simply depress it while seated & it will gently lower. Or, to raise the seat height, simply stand up from the chair, press down on the lever, & it automatically, gently raises the seat height. 2) Back of seat: There is a very large, circular, hand-sized twist knob hidden underneath the chair (purple, of course!). To adjust the back, just turn the knob to loosen the back, position as desired, then twist the knob back in the opposite direction to 'lock' the chair in your desired position. Practice a few times to get the hang of it. Couldn't be easier! This is an extremely well made, high fashion, sturdy, functional, comfy chair for a great price! Meanwhile, her current desk chair serves as an extra for freinds when they're doing joint homework projects. The chair is just as pictured, easy to assemble, and we couldn't be happier with it's sturdiness, great looks, great function, and low price. The only thing that we don't yet know is how it will stand the test of time. If any significant problems arise over the next 8 years (time until she leaves for college!), I'll post an update. Right now it appears quite sturdy, and we have no reason to doubt it's longevity. BUY THIS CHAIR!

I bought this chair for my 8 year old daughters new desk. It is very cute and it is a solid sturdy chair. She absolutely loves it! It was easy to assemble and arrived at my house pretty fast. Great chair!

This chair was PERFECT for my "ofice space"! It matched everything I had of purple! The chair is very comfy, too. If you happen to buy this chair you will ABSOLUTELY love it!! It's probably one of the best chairs you'll find!

I was in dire need of a new office chair and while I prefer the orange for my office, it did not offer free ship.

I debated between green and purple and decided on the purple since I have a retro purple Lava Lamp in my office.

The chair is very easy to assemble, all parts were present, and it freed up some room that my old too-large office chair took up.

The seat and back cushions are relatively comfy.

For the price, free ship, and the fact I had a Target Gift Card, I got the chair for almost nothing.

I would have given the chair 5 stars except the photo should represent the EXACT item shipped.

And the purple casters would have been so cool......the grey ones sent are just blah.

BTW, the chair is definitely PURPLE, not Magenta as previously mentioned. It is a true purple!

The purple chair matched the decor of my daughter's room. All the pieces matched and nothing was missing. There are no written instructions for assembly. But the picture was pretty simple to follow and we successfully assembled the chair very quickly. The chair is very cormfortable as well as functional. You can't beat the price!
