The table was impossible to put together. When we read "assembly required" we figured we'd put the legs on the table or some other minor assembly. The ENTIRE set was in pieces including the chairback rods. To top it off, the instructions were telling us to put cam bolts on the chairs where there were no holes to put them in. It was an utter disaster. In order to put this set together, you need to be an experienced wood worker or furniture maker -neither of which we are. There is NO WAY we would have bought this set if we knew the extent of the assembly required. And after all of this, the wood was not at all to any sort of quality standards. There is a three inch section of the bench top wood that obviously broke off and was replaced with putty and glue! It was horribly mismatched and a complete botch and sticks out to the naked eye. We were very frustrated and disapointed! You may have better luck but we would NOT buy this set. We are now in the process of returning ours and looking at a local furniture store even though we will pay $100-$200 more.

The set came in 4 big boxes on a Gaylord via Ceva. We got it in about a week and a half. The chairs came assembled (they put them together before shipping now) but the bench and the table we had to put together ourselves. The table and bench were pretty easy to assemble, put legs on and screw in the screws- pretty simple. We just love it.

When we got our first set the legs were cracked, table was stained, mold,etc. The second set was worse than the first.
The third time we got it everything was good except the table. Customer service will not let you return one thing you must return the whole set. We really like this table and were very patient but, after everything we still have no table and no one seemed to care at customer service about the set they were shipping out and selling. I hope we can find another table from another company.

I purchased this dinning set Oct 2009.I was really scared after reading some of the reviews online but decided to go ahead and place my order anyhow. The shipping took about 10 week days, and it was fairly easy to put together. While putting it together one of the chairs was uneven and wobbled-so my husband took the one leg of the chair back off and swopped it with another in the box and it was fixed. (they must not be all enter changeable...) I recomend this table...its nice, easy to build, and heavy! and a side note; this table is BRIGHT BRIGHT WHITE-so keep that in mind if you have pets or children. Hope I helped you decide!
