Worked for us.

Reviewer:  Texas  See all my reviews

Although, my baby did outgrow this rather quickly, it allowed me to keep her safe and secure in bed with me during her youngest stage. I was also able to transition her into her crib with this after a while. I placed her in her crib in the Secure Sleeper. Once she became accustumed to her room and surroundings we removed the secure sleeper and never had any problems.

It was OKAY

Reviewer:  MasonsMommy  (New Jersey)  See all my reviews

I registered for this item b/c in the picture, the baby fits!! I washed it and was going to use it when he was around 3 weeks(22inches, 10lbs), and he had already outgrown it! I mean, I guess I could have stuffed him in there,'technically he could fit' but he likes to sleep with his arms over his head in a full stretch and he was just too big to be comfy in there. Plus, the mattress is lumpy. Maybe my next baby will be smaller.

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT

Reviewer:  Mom of all boys "AC"  (East coast)  See all my reviews

I bought this when I had my 3rd son. He only seemed to sleep when he was next to me. I am a c-section mom and this was a GOD send. I am now delivering our 4th child & due to a move and being in between houses I am unable to locate my sleeper. If I cannot find it I will be purchasing it AGAIN. We have a Kingsize bed and it fits perfectly allowing us all to get the sleep we need/want and again with the c-section I feel like I'm available for the baby too! LOVE IT!

A little pricey, but worth it...

Reviewer:  South Texas Mommy  (Victoria, Texas)  See all my reviews

I rec'd this as a shower gift and it has been a lifesaver.
My child was a preemie and so it was reassuring to have her right next to me during those 1st months. My baby is now almost a year old and I still use it when she wakes up in the middle of the night, that way we can both get back to sleep!

Waste of Money

Reviewer:  Mom on a Budget "New Mom"  (Phoenix, AZ, USA)  See all my reviews

This is pretty big and bulky once you fit it between two parents, even on a king-sized mattress. Definitely pricey for what you get, and many friends tell me baby is ultimately uncomfortable. We ended up returning this, and buying the pack n' play with bassinet instead - so baby can still sleep right next to us (just not in our bed)!!! Don't buy this as a sleep positioner either... it doesn't position baby at all.

Don't waste your money on this

I asked for this on my baby registry, and I was very disappointed when I used it. My baby never seemed comfortable at all. She always shifted off to one side on the mattress that wasn't very firm at all. It actually was quite lumpy and overall not very sturdy. I didn't feel comfortable using it on my bed. It just didn't feel safe. Perhaps it can be used on a flat surface. I would NOT recommend this product.

every baby should have one ...

Reviewer:  mama turtle  (atlanta, ga.)  See all my reviews

this is a registry must-have, in my opinion. if you have this little bed for the first few months of your baby's life, you honestly don't need anything else. i used this with my daughter two years ago (the old model) and now with my son. it provides a safe, familiar place for your baby to sleep, everywhere. awesome.

Perfect for sleeping on the go

Reviewer:  Amber Wildfire  (Pulaski, TN, USA)  See all my reviews

We received the family bassinet for our little one, which is no longer up to JPMA standards (the spindles are about 6" apart), so we got this sleeper to put in the bassinet. He sleeps fabulously in this, and while he is getting a little long for it, we will keep using it until we move him to the crib in his room. It is perfect for traveling to Grandmas' house as well - no risk of him falling off a couch or bed.

I do put a rolled up receiving blankets at the mesh panels though, to help keep his legs in the bed.

Absolutely love it! Hard to let go!

Reviewer:  New Happy Mom  (Washington)  See all my reviews

when we first brought our baby home we were always nervous about where she slept. we didnt want to use the crib because it hurt for me to be getting up so we had her on the bed with just me. then my mom got us this little bed and it was perfect. we were no longer worried about having her sleep with me on the bed at night and it made everything so much easier, it was exactly what we need it. you can take it anywhere with you, we took it on a trip and carried it on the plane with us, very easy to travel with and light weight. my baby just turned 3 months and she is outgrowing it, her feet now go a little beyond the foot wall and we are trying very hard to find something similar to this because she is starting to roll over and we feel more comfortable having her sleep next to me, its very hard to let go and put away.

Quite a scare

Reviewer:  New and blessed mommie "Miss R"  (Greenbelt, MD)  See all my reviews

At first my baby (who is now 2 months and 7 lbs.) didn't seem to feel comfortable in it, like it wasn't as firm as her bassinett, but she later warmed up to it. I keep it in the bed next to me and we both love that we are close to one another. I didn't like how she seemed to slide to one side of the sleeper most of the time and how her legs would hang over the bottom mesh part of the sleeper at times. But just a few moments ago, we were sleep and then I heard a loud noise like something dropped and then I heard my baby crying at the top of her lungs! My child and the sleeper were on the floor and I lost my mind. I am assuming she rolled over and her weight made the sleeper fall. I have a queen sized bed and it is just us two that sleep in the bed. I am now going to return the product or maybe just use it on a flat surface. Be cautious please. My baby is fine and had no visable bruises, but I will take her to the doctor today to get checked out as a precaution. Some injuries are internal.
