I've been looking for a simple, classic floor lamp for a while. I was initially attracted to this lamp because of the price. But then I thought: For this price, it really can't be that great. There was only review on the lamp at the time and it was a good one, so I thought I would try it. Am I glad I did! Its a great, simple, classic lamp at a FANTASTIC price! I'm going to get another one and I would recommend it to anyone.

This lamp is a gem, not only for the overall quality but the also for the price.
The shade is a mite small, but that is probably because it sits beside a large chair, but can certainly change the shade. The base is lovely and very sturdy. I highly recommend this lamp.

I am quite happy with this lamp. It probably wouldn't work in a really glamorous house, but ours is just a comfortable, neat house, and the lamp fits very well. The illumination from it is good, too, especially for reading.
