I purchased this to hold our wet clothes. It was very solid. I have purchased others that have fallen apart and this one has held up. I would recommend this product.

I have to disagree with the previous review. We live in a small apartment & purchased this in the store to use for extra closet space. It's strong enough to hold my clothes & my husband’s suits. This rack does a great job. I've bought others that have fallen apart once we hang a couple suits on them, but this one stays true to form. And by the way, there is no smell.

Sturdy rack, holds a full rack of clothes with no problems. Solid, not flimsy. Rubber wheels smell like, well, rubber wheels! I could smell the new rubber right out of the box, but the smell was gone quickly. No complaints with this product, highly recommend.

This rack is awesome. It DOES fold, whoever said it doesn't is wrong. You have to take the top part off to fold it. It's really easy to put together.

It is actually sturdy and I can imagine it will hold a ton of clothes. It's strong, sturdy metal, and there's no plastic in sight, unlike many other racks. I own a cheaper one (cheaper as in lesser quality) and it cost the same amount as this one... this thing is a bargain. It is really tall so beware of that, but I'd say it's the only high quality rack I've ever seen for this price.

I bought two of these to hold garments for my business. It is great and looks very sleek and modern. However, it seemed a bit wobbly. Overall is is good quality for the price.

I bought the cheaper clothes rack that Target sells first, but it fell apart under the weight of a moderate amount of clothes, so I went for this one. I wasn't disappointed. It has a good solid feel, and adjusts easily. It easily held all my clothes and I was never worried about collapse.

As for the smell, yes, the wheels are rubber, and rubber has a distinct smell. Maybe it smells like cigarettes to some, but to me it smelled like a fresh kick ball on the playground. I did get tired of it, but it soon wore off, and now it doesn't smell at all. If you really hate the scent of rubber, you might not want to buy one of these new, but otherwise, it's a great product.

This is one of 3 racks I have purchased over 3 years and the best by far. Easy 10 minute,snap assembly and yes the wheels do smell a litte but stored them in my car for several days before using the rack. Worth the price.

I found that the garment rack was sturdy enough and it satisfied my needs. I use it for storage. I have at least 30 items on it; ranging from dress shirts, jeans, pants, sweaters, leather jacket, etc.

You get what you pay for. Dont expect an industrial strength rack, but this rack is good enough.

Easy, easy assembly. I would purchase again, and I would recommend it.

If I could I would give this 0 stars. I wanted a rack to hang laundry on. All of the others seemed flimsy, but this one. So I ordered it. When it arrived the box smelled so awful I gagged as I brought it up the stairs. It had an extremely stong odor of cigarettes and campfire. I thought that it was just the box, but once I assembled the rack, the smell only got worse. I put the rack away (which, by the way, does NOT fold like it claims to) in my closet and shut the door. I then opened the door two hours later to a wall of stench. All of my clothes had to be washed and I spraied the entire closet and rack with Fabreze to the point of dripping. The odor was so bad that we had to open the windows, run fans and air purifiers for two full days just to get rid of the horrible smell. We put the rack outside for 24 hours, and hoped that by then it would have aired out. But, when I brought it back in the house, within less than 5 minutes the entire living room was filled with the odor. At this point I gave up and returned the item. I double bagged it with heavy duty trash bags, and when I got to the store and removed the bags, the clerk began to gag as well. She said that it was the metal that caused the smell. In other words, only buy this if you have no sense of smell. Otherwise there is no way to get rid of the odor. [...] Go somewhere else to get this item!
