I purchased this bike on line for my daughters 21st birthday, (she wanted a bike for exercise in LA!). I had read some other reviews and hoped that it would be easy to put together. When it arrived, we did not feel comfortable at all, attaching brake cables, tires etc... So we took it to a bike shop and had it assembled. They commented that it was a quality bike, but they also suggested once they adjusted the gears, brakes etc.. that a professional should put it together. She loves it and it really is nice looking.

I wanted to share with you my excitement on the selection of my gift to Mom. My Mother is a great Lady and a cancer survivor, she is always and foremost a Mother. And now that I'm a Mother of four children I know what Mothers are all about.
For a Mothers Day Gift I bought the Forge Athena-V dedicated bicycle for American Breast Cancer Foundation, [...]. This was my first shopping experience on Targt.com, I must say my purchase experience was more than I had imagined. The purchase experience was simple and delivered to my door so I didn't need to lift into my minivan while managing four kids. The quality of the bicycle is great, light, and comfortable and the shinny pink is beautiful.
Your motto ...."pay less and expect more" is truly what I had experienced. The value is fantastic.
But most of all I'm so happy I can be with my mom as she rides her new pink bike to the road of recovery.

Very cool! This bike is Great! Conveniently delivered to my door within two days, well packaged and assembly was simple. The ride is tight and this bike is light and fast. My boyfriend is a biker and heard about Forge in a bicycle review magazine, 5 Stars*****. He also did some research [...] as well. Now we both bike together, he bought the Sawback 5xx which sells double in stores, I am not a biker, but this bike rocks! We were completely impressed by the sweet components and the cool paint job. I live in the most stylish world, Miami, and I have people remark at the beauty and style, how cool. I am always impressed by the quality of Target! Just keeps getting better and better! Keeps me comin' back for more! 5 Stars*****, I Love this bike.

Very disappointing experience

Word to the wise...never purchase a bike online unless the reputation is known and the store is willing to refund you your FULL out-of-pocket expense should the item not meet your expectations.
[...] The item arrived in a box that had been patched. That was the 2nd sign. The contents appeared to be unaffected. I put the bike together and when my wife took it for a test ride she found the wheels rubbing the brakes and the bike wobbled. Come to find out that both rims were bent. [...] The 3rd sign was the fact that this unknown brand of bike was being offered only via online. I figured that with Target's reputation and the fact that they state you can return the item to any store that I was safe.
Take my advise...don't purchase this or any other unknown name brand of bike online unless the store is going to guarantee you that you won't get burned.
This is the worst online buying experience I have ever had!

This was my first shopping experience on Targt.com, the purchase experience was simple and delivery to my door was convenient as oppose to transporting in my minivan while managing four kids. The quality of the bicycle is great; light and comfortable and the shiny pink is beautiful. Assembly was quick and simple.
Your motto ...."pay less and expect more" is truly what I had experienced. The value is fantastic.
But most of all, I'm so happy I can be with my mom on Mothers Day when she rides her new pink bike to the road of recovery.
I thought it was important to share my excellent experience.
