I purchased this set for myself about a year ago, and I am very happy with it. All the dishes are a beautiful white color with simple ridged design, making them classic and easy to match any decor. I've only used mine to serve dishes and store leftovers, and for those purposes, they are great. I have yet to bake anything in them, and as one reviewer pointed out, they do not have handles (and I could see the concern with that). I don't find it to be too big of a problem for me--just be careful and use good oven mitts. I highly recommend this as a good basic set.

No handles

I actually returned this item for the 11 piece set b/c there are no handles on the cassarole dishes making them harder to get out of the oven. Cleans up great, looks great, and works great, but the no handles is a deal breaker for me

Lids don't fit

I received this set as a bridal shower gift. It is nice looking, cooks great, and cleans easily. However I can only give it three stars because the glass lids do not fit nicely, I feel like they are slightly irregular. Anyone else have this problem?

This set may be a great set. I don't know because honestly I haven't used it yet but no matter because it came missing TWO (2) plastic lids. And when I tried to request that they be sent to me I was put through the ringer. Apparently they have no idea what items are supposed to be in what sets unless I tell them. And they have no idea which containers I'm talking about unless they have an item number from the bottom of the container. THERE IS NO ITEM NUMBER ON ANY OF MY Corningware 16pc Set!
