BEST PLAY YARD OUT THERE FOR KIDS AGES NEWBORNS-3YRS OLD July 15, 2008 Reviewer:  JrzMommie "V.T" (CA, USA)  See all my reviews >

I LOVE THIS PLAY YARD! My babyboy who is now 1 yrs old absolutely loves being in it and it is SAFE!!!! Very colorful to keep him occupied and not only that, toys are installed in there to keep the little ones busy! I would recomment this to ANYONE, ANYDAY! We were gonna get the SUPERX GATE but to me it looks more like a gate for pets!! There's nothing wrong with this play yard, as long as you follow instructions how to set it up, all will go well!!! LOVE IT!!!!

NOT SAFE! July 15, 2008 Reviewer:  J. Banana "mom of 2 boys" (U.S.)  See all my reviews >

I bought this extension after I decided I would want the original set to be bigger. But that was before my son started using it. I am shocked that this play yard passed inspection, and that it is still being sold. My 9 month-old son got his ankles stuck in the slats over and over. The last time had him in tears because I couldn't get him unstuck. Just when I was about to throw it away, he stopped getting stuck... only because he got bigger and couldn't fit his chunky legs in there anymore. But that's not the only thing that is horrible about this yard. If your child is laying down and pushes up on the walls, they can easily become disconnected. Obviously, you're watching the baby anyway, so it's okay. But that's not the point. You expect it to stay together! If we have another child, we will go back to the superyard XT, which is not attractive. But at least it stays together and is perfectly safe.

Awesome!!! October 15, 2008 Reviewer:  Aidynsmommy "Crystal Jo" (Fair Grove, MO, USA)  See all my reviews >

My 9 month old son has been playing in this for the past 4 months and he loves it! I also bought the Step 2 Play mats (set of 4) to put underneath for cushioning because we have laminate floors and it fits perfectly together. Everything is easy to clean and sanitize and the locking gate is great. His babysitter has this as well but bought 2 of the extension kits and it is huge and he spends a lot of time in it when he is there. If you are planning on using this for the long term, I would recommend investing in 2 of the extension kits. You won't regret it! There may be other reviews about the pieces coming apart when pushing upwards, but the pieces lock together and it takes quite a bit of force. I had the same complaint about it until my babysitter showed me and you really have to put all your weight into locking the joints together. No more complaints here! Great investment!
