I got this toy for my 8 year old son because he likes computer games and skulls (the little bones character caught my attention). The price point was right for this starter kit, so even if he didn't like it, I was only out [price]. Good news though...he LOVED it! Apparently all of his friends are into this to, and they trade and share characters. At around [price] for each additional toy, it's economy friendly.

The software was easy to load and sits on the computer, so no disc each time he plays. I will say that sometimes the figures do not sit well in the bigger USB Funkey, causing problems in the game, but it's usually because the big Funkey is not on a flat surface.

My son loves it. Money well spent!

I collect inaction figures, so when I saw this one came with a game, I had to have it! Some of the other characters are a little too fru-fru for me, but a lot of the characters are darker and more boyish (particularly in the dream state series). I have this set and 7 other characters. Some of the games are more fun than others, but when you reach a high enough level, the games appear in your crib for easy access. I like how there are different log-ins, so my kid sister can play too without messing up my game. Just FYI, I'm 15yo. and like this toy.

I bought the UBFunkeys set at the insistance of my son thinking it would be another interest soon discarded; I was wrong!We have had them almost two years, and the whole family has the best time playing UB Funkeys!
The toys are sturdy and decorative when not in use. The games are fun, extremely varied, spur you to explore and manipulate the environment, and a few involve spelling and math! New Funkeys occassionally are released unlocking new areas and games. There is only slight inconvenience in the long upgrade (newest version out isn't in the box)but the tech number is helpful and fun and also they have placed a driver patch at the website to fix problems.

Every time you get a new funkey u have to update and if it doesn't work you have to call them. its a fun game but you can't go certain places because it isn't online. And the first thing have to do takes two days!

My 10 year old grandson is having a blast with these games. He likes the challenges and making money. It is a good educational experience and a lot of fun.

This toy gets sooo BORING i bought this like a year ago and after a week i was sick of it!!! you have to by other funkeys to unlock places and play like one new game that relates to another game it just has a different theme!!! if you could interact with other people and play more games i would rate this 5 stars!!! take my advice and don't buy it, it is not worth the money!!!
