My husband is currently deployed in Iraq and we will be having our first baby in February. I wanted to get a webcam so that he can watch my belly grow and of course, see out baby after it's born. I searched online, read reviews then decided to go to the store and browse. My intentions were to get a cheap one that would only cost around [....]. Well, I picked up the GE because I had seen 1.3 megapixel on the box, thought to myself "I bet the picture is really good, I'll try it!" There were others available, but they were even more. I got this home, loaded the disk and plugged in the webcam...easy! The picture is amazing, not grainy and digital looking like old or cheap cams. It also has software with it that you can use to create videos with your webcam or even take photos. All around, very impressed with this product!

I just got the camera today. It is very good so far. My friends can see me clearly, and it isn't jittery. The image is almost perfect, which I did not expect. This camera has been pretty good so far. Delivered in a timely manner. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a camera.

This camera is way better than all the others. For a price you just can't beat. Not grainy, has a perfect mic! I don't understand why it was only 4 1/2 stars. It deserves a 100 out of 3. : D BUY THIS CAMERA!

I love this webcam. I was looking for one, to talk to my far away relitives, and this really did the trick. It works great, the mic works great, and its also nice for my Youtube. It almost NEVER freezes!

First off my camera was left on my door step... I was home all day the ups man did not even ring my bell but with that said these camera is awesome. My friends can see me clearly and they can hear me clearly as we. I have nothing bad to say at this moment. Thanks GE

Microphone Does Not Work

This GE Webcam works fine, has good picture clarity and we can hear the person on the other end fine. However, our microphone does NOT work and the person we are talking to can not hear us. We had trouble from the beginning with the microphone but got it working and then it stopped working after one day.

i bought this so i could use video conferencing on yahoo and hotmail instant messenger. installing the software was a bit of fussy moment. my laptop came with windows vista. vista is new for me, so, i'm sure if this had to do with the operating system or not. and getting the webcam to operate in hotmail messenger was a pain. utilizing the webcam in yahoo messenger was a breeze though. anyhoo, the people who i chat with tell me that the audio from my webcam comes in very clear. the video quality could be better though.

Camera will not work on 3 different computers. Software is years out of date and can not not be adjusted manually and has no gamma correction. I am working with GE to replace it. I don't like it.
