This item was purchased for my husband's birthday; couldn't believe how quickly it was received. Had one issue that Garmin tech support was able to walk me through without any problems. We trail ride (horses/mules) in national forests; this receiver NEVER fails to track for us; we know the precise mileage ridden, time ridden, time resting, as well as speed. The Garmin replaced a handheld Magellan that wouldn't track in heavily wooded terrain. We never leave home on a camping trip without it; now we venture on unmarked trails with total confidence of ability to return to camp!
