The Germ Guardian Dry Heat Sanitizer effectively sanitizes hard and soft baby items in 30 minutes. Dry heat is used which is a way to kill germs without the use of harsh chemicals. It sanitizes hard and soft toys, pacifiers, bottles and nipples and is an easy and convenient way to sanitize breast pump attachments. After the 30-minute sanitizing cycle is complete, it automatically shuts off. It won’t shrink or fade colorful fabrics or melt plastic or rubber items. Use it in the home or daycare. i registered for this item because i liked that it was a dry heat sanitizer. i wanted to be able to sanitize soft toys and breastfeeding accessories without using the microwave. this is a very simple device to use; just load and push the button. it takes a lot of hassle out sanitizing bottles as well. this really helps me to keep things safer for baby without any hassle. i am so glad to have this in the nursery!

This product worked well to sanitize small items that could not be washed. There is a plastic piece in the center of the container, so you are only able to put small items in. I was able to fit in three to four little stuffed animals or rattles at a time. My daughter is now 20 months old, and few of her toys will fit into the container. I found that I did not use the product as often as I thought I would, but it is still a good buy if you have a newborn or an infant.

I mainly purchased this to sanitize bottles and small toys. It works great for smaller bottles but because of the plastic dividers you can only fit one large bottle in at a time. I do love the fact that it uses dry heat which makes it possible to put small stuffed animals in it.

Unfortunately, not many people know how many germs are exactly on there and unless your a scientist your not going to truly know that this is a reliable sanitizer. However, I have no problems using it. Only downsides are is that it is loud and small.
