Great tank, but older style WAS better May 9, 2008 Reviewer:  Laura M. Lencioni "seaserpent" Real Name (Oak Lawn, IL)  See all my reviews >

This is a staple of my nursing wardrobe and despite the fact that the old style was better, it is still a great item for the price. The older style provided more support and a bit more coverage while nursing. If the change was to make the tank cheaper to produce, I would rather pay a bit more for the old style. At, say, $5 more, it would still be cheaper than many other tanks I've seen, which seem to run $25-$30.
Would I still recommend this? Absolutely. But I'd love to see the original style offered again as well, and I was disappointed to discover the difference with the most recent ones I bought.

Love the new color. HATE the new design. April 11, 2008 Reviewer:  ThrilledNewMom See all my reviews >

The old design was supportive and offered perfect coverage. The new design is too short and makes a uniboob. It is NOT good. Wish they'd bring back the original great tank. Why'd they change something that wasn't broken?

HAD BOTH--LIKE ORGINAL BEST, BUT THIS IS GOOD TOO July 10, 2008 Reviewer:  beaglebaileysmom "Diane" (Colorado)  See all my reviews >

My guess is they changed the design because the piece that separated the breasts in the old design would show. On my white one, it always stuck out above the tank. Never on the black or grey, but I remember thinking with the white that I wished they would get rid of that part, as it did nothing useful anyway. That said, without it, the new tanks DO push them together a touch more than I'd like. But the new tanks are still great, and I am wearing them even after I'm done nursing. They are the only tanks I can find with any support! Same goes for the G&O nursing bras. Excellent comfort, quality, and support, whether you're nursing or not!

Wonderful April 29, 2008 Reviewer:  A. Renninger Real Name (Osceola, IN United States)  See all my reviews >

This tank is great. I have two similar to this from a previous child and wanted more. I love the new design. My other tanks come up in the middle, it looks like I have two shirts on. These are great, they can be worn alone or under other shirts. When nursing you don't have to show off your belly since you don't lift the shirt. I found that this tank was also plenty long. Of course, I ordered one size up since I'm well endowed.

Terrible nww design April 20, 2008 Reviewer:  Adam's mommy See all my reviews >

I agree the new design is pretty much awful! The older design offered more room in the body of the tank and more cup suport. The new design is much tighter, has much less support, and doesn't hold breast pads well. I love the tanks, as I have them in all the colors (2 old design / 3 new design). My only wish is that the old design is brought back!!!!

Affordable and Comfy September 27, 2008 Reviewer:  mommy of 2 "B Power" (Chicago, IL, USA)  See all my reviews >

I absolutely LOVE these tank tops! I have 3 of them and they are pretty much the only thing I wear these days. I have a 3 week old daughter who nurses very often so I need to wear shirts that open easily and quickly. These tank tops are comfortable, easy to open and they dont look like nursing tops unless you notice the little buckle on the straps. Oh and most importantly they are under $20!!

very comfy and discreet June 10, 2008 Reviewer:  diane page (new york city)  See all my reviews >

I read the other reviews before buying this item sight unseen (in blue and in black) and have to say that this is a very comfy top that also provides discreet enough coverage for nursing. Plus who wants to spend lots of $ on nursing clothes? The hooks can be undone with one hand with a little practice and the underneath cutaway part is fine as one piece - I probably would have preferred it to the older style as described by other reviewers with the two cutouts, one for each side. You can wear this top alone (it's heavy enough that nothing shows but not too heavy to wear in summer) and the slight stretch helps hide any body issues. I wear a large usually and ordered a large which fit fine. Overall makes nursing much easier - isn't that the goal?

AWESOME TANK April 15, 2008 Reviewer:  R. Elvin "Tommy&Sierra's mom" Real Name (usa)  See all my reviews >

Awesome design, awesome tank. I never had a chance to use the old design, but I like the new design soooooo much better than those high priced tanks [...] and the fit is so much better and the fabric so much nicer. Don't waste your money on expensive nursing bras or tanks...get yours at target.

Best nursing tank July 8, 2009 Reviewer:  Tnar See all my reviews >

Not sure where I read to get Gilligan & O'Malley nursing undergarments, but I'm glad I followed that person's advice. This tank is so comfortable. I wear it without a bra underneath and it supports my breasts just fine (I'm a D cup). Easy to pull down the flap to nurse the baby. I wear it by itself at home. When I want to go out, I throw on a shrug. I use a nursing pad and it doesn't show through this tank at all. Definitely a must have if you're breastfeeding, or pumping.

LOVE IT June 9, 2009 Reviewer:  L. Booth Real Name (Iowa)  See all my reviews >

I love these. I didn't know if I should order a large or medium, and went with large. I am about a 36C at the moment and have lost my baby weight. I needed the large right after delivery and could probably wear either now. They are loose in the torso so don't expect a tight fit. I really like them and wear one almost every day!
