Waste of money..

These blinds are a waste of money! They get dirty quickly and break easily. The strings broke on them and didn't work well in the first place.

i've bought a couple of these for my kitchen, while altough, they look quite nice, they do discolor easily. (within 3-4 months). however, that's what you have to expect when purchasing natural fibers that cannot be washed or treated easily. i'd rather just stick with the traditional valance sets.

I bought one of these shades for my kitchen door, and it looks great. I've had it for 5 or 6 months now, and I haven't had any problems with it. My favorite thing about this shade is that people outside can't see through it at all, but it still lets light into the room. I bought four more of these shades to put up in my dining room, and I'm not even planning to put any draperies up over them--I just love the clean, crisp, modern look these shades provide, and they look great with my mid-century dining table.

I bought several of these for my sun room and they really looked great and were easy to install. However, the cheap little plastic rings used to pull the shade up are all breaking and now I can't open the blinds. I have removed them and am looking for suggestions. I have spent a few hundred dollars on these and am not ready to throw them out yet.

I really like the look of these shades but they aren't the size that is shown on the package. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that until I was trying to install them. I will have to return them and hope that they will take them back since I already ruined some of the packaging. My windows will accept a 35" blind but these actually measure 35 5/8" when the mounting brackets are installed. It definitely isn't 35"!

I like the overall look of the blind--while they're in the up position. You have to like the flat-look roman shade; I prefer the classical look. More importantly, the blind itself actually measures 1/2" shorter than what's printed. HOWEVER, with the type of brackets they use, the blind, complete with brackets, actually measure 1/2" LONGER! The brackets are bright chrome and the blind actually fits into the end of it. The built-in valance doesn't cover the brackets, so you can see those bright, shiny things on either side! It doesn't allow for butting the blinds close together.
What everyone is saying about the plastic rings that look like clothes attachers is completely true. What they didn't say was that you can see the "T" part of the plastic attacher on the FRONT when the blinds are completely down--not all that visible, but you can see them. Not visible when the blinds are up.
It's really too bad the design isn't better because I would have kept them. I spent [....] for six blinds, but am returning them.

These shades are perfect. I replaced all of my windows with them months ago and so far no problems. Many reviews say the plastic pieces break, so far mine have not, but if they do I am just going to fix them. I altered mine to the exact height of my windows and they look custom and expensive. These are clean and functional for a low price.

I'm not quite seeing what everyone is saying about these blinds. I had them in my previous apartment and I like them so much I am buying them again, in a larger size, for my new apartment. They are clean, add beautiful texture, and let in just the right amount of light. I haven't experienced any problems hanging them or them ever looking dirty.

The plastic rings that hold the strings on the back will break and then it's lopsided and won't adjust. They look great til they break, 3 out of 5 of mine are broken.
