I ordered this highchair because I didn't like the way the plastic ones looked. It was very easy to assemble. It goes great with our table and chairs and looks more like a piece of furniture. I love it! I hope it holds up for many years to come.

I almost didn't buy this high chair because of a bad review. But I am so glad I did. I just couldn't find any other chair that I liked the look of. So I took a chance. It does assemble easily. My ten month old daughter really loves to sit tall in this chair. It has a smaller tray under the big one for toddlers to just hang out. The big tray removes easily and has a handy plastic cover to protect the wood. I am saving this chair as a family heirloom after my daughter outgrows it. Thats how much I like it.

My son loves his high chair! It was easy to put together and easy to clean. Its sturdy and well made.I recommend it to other moms.

I agree with Amy P - she complained about the bar under the tray that comes down and goes between the child's legs. It's so far back that my son gets really uncomfortable. You kind of have to squeeze him down in there, it's really not good. He is 9 months old now and I'm really worried about how long I'll be able to use it. And, Amy is right, there is no way to adjust it so that the bar doesn't sit back so far. Also, one other thing I wish I had thought about - the highchair at my mom's house adjusts, so it can be lowered to table level which my son loves. This chair obviously doesn't lower - which isn't a huge problem, but if I had known how much my little one would like to be involved with the family at dinner, etc., I would have purchased a highchair that can be raised/lowered. On the plus side, it's a pretty piece of furniture, but I prefer functional over pretty.

I love this chair. It is easy to put together and looks great. The tray is excellant.It makes clean up a breeze. The only complaint I have is it is not a 5 point harness which would help support new eaters. I would, however, reccomend this to a friend.

This was a great buy & worth every penny. After my sister told me her son pushed away & fell from her bar table, which he was sitting on a regular strapped down booster seat from fisher price. I got concerned & I too went out to buy something more suitable & safe for my son. It's well built, sturdy and easy to clean.

I read the previous reviews from other moms, and especially from the one mom who said its a dangerous chair & beg to differ completely. I would never leave my son in the chair with out strapping him in to keep him from climbing out of the chair. And I know it only takes a second to climb out when you remove the straps, but then any child can climb out of any chair if left un attended & yes the chair would tip over. Yes the tray is heavy, but I had no problem putting over on the counter first before taking my child out from the STRAPPED high chair. The last stage of the chair is the best. I now have a chair that I can put at my dinner bar table for my "now" 4 yr old. The fact that it has the arm handles on the side keeps him from falling over to the side like a regular bar stool chair that I feel is unsafe for a 4 yr old. He no longer pushes him self away from the table as the chair is sturdy & heavy for his little legs to push away,which was another concern I had.

About the bar on the bottom that some moms said was a problem climbing up, well I didn't have a problem with it. I rather have my son safe in a chair he wont fall off as a toddler then expect perfection. oh,and with me I was able to remove the upper bar .(just unscrew it)

As far as me, I completely recommend this chair if used correctly like any other chair, and give it a full thumbs up!!
And whether you buy it or not is up to one self if used correctly.

We received this chair as a gift. It is incredibly heavy and hard to move. I first started to dislike it because of the weight of the tray. Also you have to remove the tray entirely to pickup the baby which is awkward and dangerous. I started to really dislike it when the tray fell and crushed my foot when I was picking my son up out of it. It that point I was thankful it was my foot that got crushed and not my son's head. My son just turned one and has entered his adventures stage. While I was in the same room he decided to try to climb the chair before i could stop him. He grabbed the insanely heavy tray and the whole chair toppled over on top of him which resulted in a trip to the emergency room. It crushed his nose and a gave him a mild concussion. While I look at my sweet little man whole now looks like a professional boxer, I wonder how anyone could design a highchair so obviously dangerous. The highchair is now sitting in our garage. It will not be sold or re-gifted. I would not expose this chair to any other child. I truly regret I ignored my mother intuition and not gotten rid of it sooner.

Easy to assemble and adjust. No scratches so far. Fits child well and comfortably. Easy to clean. Picked this one because of looks (it's out ALL the time) and am very glad I did. We have the cherrywood color. Would reccommend to friends.

This is a great chair. It looks really nice, and best of all it doesn't take up much space- the same as a regular chair. That's why I bought it and I'm really pleased with the purchase. My baby likes to sit in here while I cook dinner. I give her a spoon to play with and she is happy. I think she likes being so high up and seeing everything.
