I gave this 4 stars for a couple of discrepencies noted when I built it, but I've had this for almost 2 years and haven't had any problems, so far. I got excited when I first saw this online. It went perfectly with my daughters' deco. Everything seemed fine except the base had a tiny nitch. Since it wasn't noticeable I didn't give it much thought. When I completed it, the top piece was loose. The hole had been drilled too big so the peg (even after filling it with wood glue) was unstable. I placed it in the corner of my girls' room, so even with regular usage, there is minimal "movement" for the top piece to fall.
