I purchased this at our local store after looking at the umbrella online. According to the ad online, the umbrella has the Red Medallion pattern on it, which would coordinate with the cushions I got for my lounge set. The umbrella I received it just a solid burnt orange. Not a biggie though, it still coordinates well, but not what was advertised.

I bought the entire Madaga set last year and I love it.I have no problems with the furniture or the cushions but this matching umbrella fell apart within two weeks. The ribs are sticking through the material at the ends and overall the quality and craftmanship is very poor. However it does match the set, so I'll probably buy another one and hope it's better this time around.

I was a little disappointed with the overall quality of the umbrella when we received it, but because it matched the cushions I'd already bought, I decided to keep it. The crank assembly wasn't as well made as my last one and the poles seemed less sturdy. A couple of days after putting it on my patio, I went to raise it and one of the supporting poles snapped right at a hinge or bolt. I'm taking it back, hoping they will give me my money back. I love the color, but I guess I'm going to be looking for a new umbrella. For the price, it should have been made better.

I bought this last summer and have had problems with it...
The black "ribs" as the other reviewer called it have poked through several corners. The winds have picked this up at least 5 times. The ring holding the ribs that meet in the middle have popped out....
Our other umbrella was purchased 6 years ago from Home Expo and we haven't had one problem with it.... I've been happy with the Madaga trunk, love seat, club chairs, bar stools, and especially the stacking 3 tables that can be pulled out at parties or with company...it's just the umbrella that failed me, and the stand I guess for not keeping my umbrella stading! :o)
